Shocking customer service in store today, the not so kind gentleman who served me didn't say please or thanks once. Asked me multiple times if I'd set the item up (it was a return), even though it was still sealed. After checking the item he still asked if I'd set it up, even tho I hadn't even opened it. Acted like the money was coming out of his own pocket, and he was very rude. His final words when handing over the receipt was "3 to 5 working days" as opposed to "the money will be back in your account within 3 to 5 working days. Thank you, bye".Appaling. I work in Sainsbury's and no way I'd speak to a customer like that, tbh ashamed that we have taken Argos over and we have members of staff like this?!In future I'll stick to the Hessle store, staff are friendlier there.

Don?t go to this branch. Incredibly rude and disrespectful manager (Sam S). Grasping at straws as to why she couldn?t return my item even though when I rang customer services they said I could. What made it worse was her accusing me of lying and her condescending tone.

I rarely leave negative reviews but....I returned a hot air brush bought yesterday and the young man was condescending, rude and dismissive. He asked me .... have you used it ? No I replied. Once he'd checked and agreed the product hadn't been used he asked me to place my debit card over the scanner. I asked why? He said just do it if you want a refund....I asked again why? as it wasn't a contactless card!! He then said abruptly who doesn't use contactless ?I said...obviously meHe was annoyed because his know it all attitude had backfired.Basically he had zero customer service skills.Argos monitor your staff's or train them better theres no place for rudeness.

I went into Argos on 12 March 2022 and was served by a fantastic young girl whose name I didn't get, absolutely when above and beyond her role to help me get the right product. Deserving of a special thank you. Max helped out too he deserves a special thank you too. Well done hopefully sainsburys will reward you both.

Was dealt with by Max and he seemed to go above and beyond to sort collection of my order. Because of a challenge on the website, it meant I would not be able to pick up from my local Argos, but Max sorted it and Sam the Manager also helped, to be on hand if that store needed to ring her. Made the whole experience effortless and great - so thank you very much.

Just want to share how grateful I am for the excellent customer service I have received this morning from the two ladies and young man who solved my problem today. I appreciate the lengths you went to, to solve the problem we had when my wife came to sort a problem we had, when a game was missing from a bundle we had purchased and it was not even from this store but another Argos some miles away. Will definitely use this store again.

I popped into this store the other day to buy a smart watch and a few sun lounges. The staff member that helped me were very helpful and amazing. I had some issues using my argos card but the colleague Sam I believe she was call rang up the argos card number and manged to sort it out. I left very happy with the service that I received. I would highly recommend this store all the staff members are all so helpful and friendly.

I was expecting a delivery to Argos HEDON on the click and collect service. The vendor then rang me to say the parcel had been refused as it was too big. It was motorcycle handlebars. Over the years we have spent a lot of money with Argos but won't be any more. Judging by the reviews on here the manager is in the wrong job.
