A very convenient store with fair priced food. They like to make reductions on there going out of date items but, some are not much cheaper the buying the 3 for a set price offer. Other reductions (especially the later in the day prices) are more than fair. Cheese is of the best quality & very reasonably priced. The cream cake selection box is good value, they do good cream cakes. Most of all, I love their Messicani Pasta (dried), they're great on their own or absolutely anything else!

Latte coffee cappuccino and americano coffee . 2 cheese scones 1 sultana scone 3 bits of butter £ 16.00 . Cheese scones very dry .. if you wanted jam 65p small jar .

I go here every week on the same day. Staff always make me feel really uncomfortable and follow me around everywhere it?s like they walk around looking to see where I am. Then when I walk towards the tills they always stand there like a brick wall. Also the ham has been off when I?ve got it home and smelt off as soon as I?ve opened it. If there was another in Hartlepool I?d go there. Awful shopping experience.

Great M&S Cafe'...excellent staff, good food and desserts, clean, fast service. The food in the store in general looks fresh. The cashier I had was professional and kind. Awesome job!

The staff are pleasant, friendly and helpful. The shop tends to stock the basics as it is quite small. The shop and staff are just what you expect from the Marks and Spencer brand - and the Percy Pig cake in a jar is addictive!

Mark's and Spencer's- conning customersTo cut a long story short , I tried to buy a gastropub meal for 2 for £10, all items were selected from the same fridge with the same branding and logo, except some of the items I selected were not part of the deal. In my opinion it was impossible to distinguish which items were and which items were not part of the deal.How many customers have selected items thinking they were getting a deal but not.I AM SURE M AND S KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE DOING- THIS IS VERY WRONG.I brought this to the attention of the very unpleasant store manageress who was totally uninterested and basically did not not have any time for me.I regularly shop in M and S but I think I will take most of my custom elsewhere

This review is absolutely not for the shop staff or its food, but my goodness the coffee shop is a joke. I had forgotten to scan in (test and trace) and the lady who asked me was rude and abrupt. We then waited a good 10minutes while 2 staff made toast and tea for the person infront of us... not one on the till and one making the food, 2 staff stood waiting and chatting by the toast machine while we waited to be served. After 5 more minutes of waiting and being ignored we left.
