Booked a table in advance although there was no need as being early Jan, they were relatively quiet, shown to our table & menus provided, drinks order taken whilst waiting for family to arrive, tbh there was such a range on the menu it took us a while to order. Called in again for lunch, easy to book by phone although didn't seem too busy. Drinks order taken straight away, then asked if we were ready to order food. 2 x prawn cocktail (throwback to younger times lol) then 2 roast beef. Great to see it’s back to its best. Thursday afternoon and it was full. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and the food was first class. Everywhere was spotless and I can’t wait to come back. Thank you.
