“We recently returned from this delightful hotel. It is a beautiful, historical building situated in the centre of Corfe, yet remaining quiet and peaceful. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and went above and beyond to help us with any enquiry or request that we had. We did not have the evening meal, but the breakfast was great. I have to say that it was a privilege to stay here and we will definitely return here again.”

“Where to start... we can't quite believe it's nearly been a week since we got married at Kingston Country Courtard. The 12th August 2023 really was the best day of out lives. From the moment we viewed the venue with Julie, we had our heart set and the rest is all in our memory! Julie and Roxanne were always on the end of the phone or email for me whenever I had any questions or sending over many updates! We hired the whole venue and rooms for our guests and we've heard nothing but praise and amazing feedback of how beautiful their accommodation was. Each and every room was clean, tidy, beautiful and some with gorgeous views. When the day arrived we had the hand of Claire helping the day run incredibly smoothly. Everything went to plan and nothing was too much trouble for anyone. The food was incredible, to the point we could've eaten all over again! I could keep going, but I just can't fully put into words how incredible our day was and we couldn't of done it without the team at Kingston Country Courtyard. “I have been holding monthly events at the Bear for 18 months for my Live Laugh Love Ladies Club Wareham.Nothing is ever too much trouble.Linda and the team are very efficient, friendly and work very hard.We use the green room which is lovely and spacious with rustic charm.The service is very quick. We've never had a bad meal, the food is very tasty, home made and great quality.If you're looking for a lovely space to hold an event for business or pleasure I would highly recommend The Bear. “Across the main road (A351) from the August milling crowds in the Corfe Castle is the Bankes Arms Hotel, named after the family who once owned the castle. My party enjoyed an excellent fish lunch, my son and I having the best bowl of mussels ever (including many meals in Belgium) and my wife had pan seared salmon. Not cheap but of excellent quality and friendly service.”
