I arrived at Boots at 13:30, I sat down stairs as it was my first time, my appointment was at 13:45, when I noticed that it exactly the time I stood and told a store what I come in to do, she directed me to upstairs where the opticians were, it was exactly 13:47, there I was attended to by a young lady whom I stated that I had been downstairs and since I was new to the area I did not know that the eye screening was upstairs, she took my information and ask me to sit and wait, some minutes later an elderly woman came in, not very pleasant and told me that I had to re book since I missed my appointment, I was crushed, knowing that I took time off my busy schedule to make it early, all I know I'm not ever going to come back.

It's a great little store and the staff are helpful. The only thing I dislike is the old tonometer aa it blows the air really aggressively and it makes me jump making the reading process longer than it needs to be and puts more stress on me. Would be great to see some investment being made into the store and the old machinery replaced.

I was given a thorough professional eye test and excellent advice about an issue with dry eyes causing an ulcer. Before and after that some tests supervised by an excellent assistant. Quick and friendly.
