A bank that is CLEARLY trying to guide you to do online banking, by being inept in the branch..It is the first thing they ask AND in a tone that suggests.. "If you did internet banking, you would not be stood here now".My bank card continually STOPS working.. (4 or 5 times this year, alone.I need cash for electricity card meter..Yesterday i had to BEG a shop owner to take my card for electricity credit that was entirely necessary.I now have to go to branch to get another new card on my first day off in 12 days.AVOID BARCLAYS AT ALL COSTS.

Queuing out the door in the rain! PUT MORE STAFF IN BRANCH! ATM is not useful for many transactions.

Absolute waste of time being open on a Saturday useless bank. Went back on the Monday still no help the lady on Saturday didn't tell me they shut the desks at 3pm weekdays thanks for that!

Shocking service, so slow. Queue's out the door. Over an hour spent in store just to update some details on an account. So glad I don't bank with Barclays anymore.

I had two very good experiences, firstly setting up a POA and secondly with an issue with online banking which was sorted out after a very short wait.

Horrendous! Chaotic!I arrived clean shaven and left with a beard!Hopefully a member of Head Office senior management team, wii arrive unannounced, so they can see for themselves how having just one Bank to service 130,000 people in the wider Poole area just does not work.Never again will I use Barclays

Awful customer service. Usual wait for getting an appointment is over 1 and a half.The staff are usually sitting around the rest of the time, not doing much and not being helpful at all.I visited the third time today, walking in when the bank was empty. Disappointingly sent back again. Not coming back here again. Better to go to any other branch because the experience here has been absolutely humiliating. Zero star rating, if possible.

Arrived at Poole Barclays Bank with customers queuing out the door on the street. When it was our turn a lady approached us wearing Barclays top with blue jeans and trainers. Really smart. I informed her I had cash to put in my account and needed the counter. Reply we only have a counter for business account. Was told that this branch is digital only will have to use the machine. I said that I don?t know how to use them and was informed she would help me so just stood there pointing . I said she would have to do it which was to much trouble but did help. The look on her face was thunder and really did not want to help. So much for customer service. Finished transaction and thanked her. All this was just to much for her to be doing. There is no sign inside outside the branch to say digital bank only. There is nothing on website. I believe that Barclays does not want our custom . We are two 70 year old oap and not brought up in a digital society so a little tolerance and patience and kindness would of been appreciated. So Barclays what happened to Customer Service. The last time we visited this branch we had no problems but was a little shocked to see one of your associates laying his head down on a desk. This service or non service at this branch is unbelievable. I am using Barclays and my money is paying for this kind of service so Barclays what are you going to do about this.
