Local hostelry - The Globe - good car parking but enter your number plate inside to avoid a fire. Special meal deals so look at the website. Very good for breakfast.

Clean, comfortable and convenient, you know what to expect with a Premier inn. It won't win design awards but very good value for the price.

Clean and comfortable room, unfortunately the bed not so comfortable but that seems to be the norm with Premier Inn beds. Helpful, friendly staff. Convenient and reasonably priced for what we wanted.

We recently had a mini break here. The rooms were spotlessly clean and tidy and we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast at the on site pub was delicious and plentiful with everything you could possibly want. The reception staff were friendly and efficient. Our only criticism would be the central heating. We would have liked to have had more control over it in our rooms to suit our requirements.

Generally good, rooms clean, staff friendly. The air conditioning/heating in the rooms is centrally controlled, which is rather annoying, having to go to reception to switch between air con and heating. The shower is not great, scalding hot or freezing cold. Very hard to get a sensible temperature, that didn't fluctuate.Breakfast in the pub was good and staff attentive.Rooms: Clean and tidy with all advertised amenities provided. As mentioned in the main review, Air Conditioning and heating is centrally controlled from reception. You can change the temperature but not the mode. If the room is too hot you cannot cool it, unless the mode is changed by reception. If you ask at reception to have the air con put on, they can do that, but that disables the heating function.Ideally you could have the room cool at night and warmer in the day. But this would require trips to reception throughout the day to change mode.It would be much easier if the controls were set to automatic mode. Then you could freely adjust the temperature.I find this in most Premier Inn hotels, you are either too hot or too cold. You end up going to reception to adjust it.The shower will suddenly go cold or hot and you can't seem to get a consistent temperature. Would benefit from a thermostatic control.Walkability: Good walkability to Highcliffe itself and a good choice of shops were available.Food & drinks: Food and drink in the pub are good quality and priced reasonably. Staff friendly.

Just wanted one night here. Good room. Not too warm as I have found in other Premiere Inns. The only item worth mentioning that I didn't like was the shower. The shower head doesn't angle and there's not much pressure from the shower. I just about got the temperature I needed from the hot tap, no cold needed. The shower twice turned cold which wasn't very pleasant. Apart from the shower everything else was fine.

Five star for the staff , no on site breakfast and the adjacent pub is not buffet , dinner wasn't great either .

Love a Premier Inn as you know what you're getting. Quick check in, friendly staff, clean room and although by the main road a very quiet hotel. Plenty of free parking. Rooms were cleaned on request which we were perfectly fine with and didnt need and was issued clean replaced towels on request. The only gripe is both rooms booked had problems with using the TV remote but we were out more than we were in. Stayed for 4 nights. Definitely would return here. Highcliffe shops and Castle close by.Food & drinks: Breakfast was freshly cooked to order every morning which was lovely. And could help ourselves to cereals, toast, crumpets, pastries, tea coffee and juices. Set us up for the day.
