“My holiday cash was delayed by the strike at the end of September. I paid 4 visits to the Christchurch Sorting Office in the two days before leaving and the two ladies and one gentleman who tried to help me bent over backwards to give me some good news. Unfortunately none was forthcoming until the morning we were leaving when 10 minutes into our journey to the Tunnel the tracker showed the cash had been delivered to the Office. We turned round and went back and the staff very kindly went into their delivery and look for it so we left happy but half an hour later than we wanted. No problem in the end.Full Mark's, Ladies and Gentlemen, couldn't have asked for more.”

Without doubt the friendliest staff I've ever encountered at a Post Office anywhere in the country.I would not take my business anywhere else.Staff are patient when posting multiple items, they give really useful advice on the most appropriate service and take the time to ensure you have the right level of insurance coverage for items sent.Even if you are simply sending a single letter you can expect a friendly welcome and service with a smile (and often some useful local knowledge).I simply do not understand how anyone could give this team a bad review, from my experince they define great customer service.”

“Hurn stores is a very handy well located shop and sub Post Office. I'm really surprised that it has kept it's Post Office with the Government closing most of the smaller ones these days. Good stock served with a friendly smile and warm greeting. It doesn't look as though it's changed much since the 60's. I love it.”
