Really like this store, great size and well located with ample parking.The range of food and Special Buys is good and I like aldi overall as a brand .However, since the introduction of their self serve tills, which I'm not against for a quick shop, they no longer offer proper tills at quieter times.The member of staff, 1 for 8 self service tills, was super friendly and running around trying to help everyone but with a physical disability or many cognitive ones, some times you need an actual person on an actual till. This evening I left in so much pain from my shop having to use self serve, its put me off bothering to go back. Really Really disappointed with this decision from Aldi, clearly couldn't care less about helping those who need a little extra (what used to be normal) help on a shop.If I could give 0 stars because of this decison, I would.

I like ALDI in christchurch, but since they have put in self service checkouts ,the normal tills never seemed to be open now ,so everyone has to go through self service, which is ok but if you have a big trolley of shopping those tills aren't designed for them .

Decent sized supermarket with good choice.Only one trolley sized self service till which is pretty annoying.
