Came here with friends. Food tasted great, atmosphere was good and our waitress Immogen was friendly, hardworking and lovely to every table. I can say every table as the other floor staff Gareth did nothing but stand on his phone and talk to staff members leaving their shift. Whilst the restraunt was full and multiple things needed doing such as seeing to customers or clearing tables. Value for money could be better but this could be overlooked with more attentive service

Fully expecting YoSushi to be the next high street chain to close, they have totally lost their way and may as well be Re branded as YoKatsu. But the staff in Bournemouth and quality for the now limited range of Sushi available was really great here.

For me the whole point of going to Yo Sushi is to eat sashimi, among other things. After making us wait about 10 minutes they allowed us to set at a table only to then tell us that they had no fish to serve... I love you guys but this one was a biiig let down. I hope you can work better so that this does not happen again. Thanks.

The restaurant was full as it is not massive, we were shown to a seating/waiting area for approximately 10 mins which was no surprise as the sushi is prepared fresh right in front of you. It was our first time using this type of restaurant, the staff were very professional explaining how the restaurant works and if you had any questions regarding the menu they were always helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you for a great new experience

Went there at 5pm on a Saturday. Spent 10 minutes waiting to be seated without any acknowledgement from the staff. It wasn't that they were busy with other diners as there were plenty of empty tables/seating positions - but they were busy filling takeaway orders and seeing to Deliveroo collections. I could also see those few diners who were seated were struggling to get attention. So we went elsewhere. A real shame as previous visits have been great

A warm welcome awaits atYo, the circulating dishes are easy to identify and enjoy, and the menu has larger dishes made to order. Miso soup is delicious with free refills, as is the green tea. However, as with any food on a conveyor, it is very easy to over consume to your cost! Very enjoyable

When I entered to buy some food to eat at my desk, the guy that served me was so scruffily dressed that I had no idea he worked there. I order some takeout and was told to come back in 5 minutes. I returned 5 minutes later to see him absorbed in his phone whilst chatting to the only customers in the restaurant. I then found out that he had forgotten to pass my order to the chef and had to wait. When I asked why this had happened he tried to tell me they were "busy with stuff", when clearly they weren't busy at all. I would have been quite happy if he'd apologised, but clearly that wasn't going to happen. The sushi roll was rushed and every slice was tapered and fell apart when I picked it up. I live and work in town, this is one to avoid.

We have visited Yo over the autumn holiday only to be disappointed but I am sure it?s not like this all the time as Yo sushi is our favourite place to treat the family and we had great experience else where. Unfortunately the edamame beans where heavily coated with sea salt and we just could not eat and the place was very busy hence we didn?t even ask to have them removed from the bill or replaced. I would have considered more attention from the members of staff to notice that we didn?t even touch them as the layer of salt was thick. When it came to the payment time, we where served by their new member of staff, and as she was left by her self to deal with mix payments, she struggled big time. Her collègues where not supportive and I really felt it for her as she was trying to sort out the payment ( and she was asking for their help, but they where just far too busy). We where there standing good 10 min. Her collègues where giving her misleading tips and she was lost .. poor soul. I felt it for her as a parent as I have teenaged children and i wouldn?t want to see them struggle that much. I hope they will sort out the team leader issue and deliver a better customer service. However for the Cheef... hhhmmmm definitely I don?t want to pay again for the over salted dishes. All the best Yo!

Left standing in the doorway while the staff chatted for ages, without even being acknowledged. Finally given a seat while they walked past several uncleared tables. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy. The table wasnt cleaned very well with the stand covered in sticky residue. FOH and chefs shouting at each other across the restaurant in Spanish with an indifferent and grumpy girl spending most of the evening chatting to other staff. Food was lack lustre with a poor choice on the belt. Overall I was underwhelmed, which was a pity, I've enjoyed other yo restaurants. This one was a let down.

Used to be my favourite restaurant but over the past year the prices have gone up and the quality has gone down. Made too many changes to the menu, trying to make it more westernized instead of the authentic Japanese food that I originally went there for. Probably won't be returning I wouldn't say it's worth the money anymore, which is a shame.

Bad customer service from manager. Seams they have so many T&Câ??s you can never get tastecard discount. Extremely overpriced. Care about money over Customer Service.

Hardly any food on the conveyor even though the place was quite busy. Had ran out of several chicken dishes and even though I ordered a different dish this didnt turn up as they had run out of this too and they tried to charge for them too. The chefs seemed more keen to prepare all the delivery orders so if you want to eat here you'll get the best service by ordering for delivery. Drink also did not turn up so I had to remind the staff member. The food we did eat was good hence 2 stars.
