Rude, nasty, obnoxious argumentative female staff!! Was told to return my online order by post unless I was doing exchanges as it takes half an hour to do a refund!! Half an hour??!! When I took my returns paperwork back, the younger one rolled her eyes and told me I was rude. The older lady then butted in saying its true... it takes half an hour to do a refund!! I worked retail for over 10 years. You are supposed to listen to your customer and support. Not literally raise your voice to them and say NO as the store was empty and they just clearly couldnt be bothered when all I wanted was my money back for poor quality items!

I came 29sep to get jeans I couldn't find one that I would like they didn't had color I like but very very very friendly and supporting guys Brett Natalie and Kara looked after me and took care of me and provided me with amazing tracksuit for jogging the price was amazing it's didn't bite hahahahah it's golden middle and the quality is amazing I'm very very very warm in this windy weather much love friends I definitely come back in future for more good vibes laughs and good times and of course quality cloth!!!

I had a very strange experience recently at Peacocks, Boscombe. Yesterday I purchased two pairs of shorts for my son, only to notice another pair of shorts on the rail on my way out, which I thought he might also like, so back to the till I went with two more. Whilst waiting, I heard the till lady speaking to the lady she was serving and realised that there was a current offer of 10% off over purchases of £35. Therefore, when it was my turn I asked to have the pair I had just purchased refunded so I could buy the lot together and take advantage of the 10% off offer from the £50 I'd spend. Said lady point blank said no, couldn't give me a reason why so I pointed out that she couldn't stop me refunding the pairs I had bought and then making a new purchase. She relented but was quite frosty after this, despite the store being almost empty. Rolling on to today, I had to return two of the pairs and saw a different lady who was immediately off with me. Gave me my refund but asked me a series of unnecessary questions, including was I using my own credit card! Now I am pretty sure this is not standard, and in no way does my appearance or countenance suggest anything untoward about me, so I asked why she had asked this question. Her response, apparently some women use their husbands cards. Hmm I have a female name and it was on my card so I'm quite sure what she was saying isn't true. She had also heard me yesterday when I had requested the initial refund, so I wonder if this is what this was really about. So Peacocks, given these times when so many shops are closing down and you have Primark across the road, I would suggest you train your staff to treat your customers a little more respectively and you may do better than the near empty shop I had the misfortune to have been in today and yesterday.

Well managed and presented retail premises, with great customer service from staff. Competitive prices on a great range of clothing for men, women and kids. No problems trying clothes on, even with kids, and an open till space allowed for easy movement around.

Bought a dress and asked the cashier if I could return it, she said not a problem as long as I have receipt. Went back a couple of weeks later to return said dress. Was rudely told by an older lady that it?s not possible to refund money back to Apple Pay. I explained that I was assured I could return my dress and she kept repeating that it?s company policy. I have no problem with the fast that they have to follow company policies, but I did not appreciate the rude tone the old lady had with me. From what I?ve heard from friends/family, I?m not the first person to have a similar experience with the workers at the boscombe peacocks
