Hmm...? its OK.. not the best aquarium around. Went on a Sunday morning in March and it was very busy. Might be better to stagger the entry times to allow guests to enjoy it without feeling pressured to shuffle along as it's not a very big area and quite claustrophobic at times. Not enjoyable with screaming kids.Or why not have the first hour for autistic visitors so they can enjoy your venue and have sensory lighting? In around and out within 45 mins.Overall...enjoyed exhibits..but not good value. Way too noisy. Sharks are small compared to other aquariums. Wouldn't return.

Visited last week with a carer and we did think it was a bit overpriced for such a small aquarium, but we enjoyed it,it wasn't too busy and I could get my wheelchair around it,cafe wasn't open.not sure what it would be like at peak times.Came this weekend with my partner/carer knowing it was accessible for my electric wheelchair ,but was turned away with my assistance dog as he isn't ADUK trained.. but privately trained for specific tasks (which is permissible under the law) Receptionist was quite rude, loud and said 'oh he's lively' when infact my dog was laying next to the wheelchair. I was very embarrassed so didn't make a fuss. The manager however was very nice and explained they needed to see vaccinations etc. I have never had this issue anywhere else with my assistance dog.

I grew up in bournemouth frequently going to this attraction, I decided to take my boyfriend down to celebrate our one year, the attraction is amazing and i have absolutely no faults with the place itself I had a wonderful experience until it came time to leave. Leaving the building I heard a comment a member of staff made towards me and my boyfriend saying he could ?do better? this really disheartened me as i was nothing but nice towards staff as I work with the public myself. I?m really upset that my one year celebration was effected by this, will probably not return again

Lovely, interactive experience, with great access for the children. The fish seemed very friendly! Would definitely go again

We took my 5year old nephew here as a birthday treat and he absolutely loved it. The otters, the sharks, the penguins, the ?weird turtle thingy with the snouty nose? (his words) ? we managed to catch each feeding time and stayed for around 3 hours because he wanted to go round twice. The staff were great, very informative and constantly cleaning.Special shout out to Molly who managed to expertly answer every single one of his random questions without hesitation.I am sure we will be back again soon!!!

The confined spaces these animals are living in within this establishment are absolutely horrific! Tanks are so small, yet overflowed with as many animals as possible and look as if they haven?t been cleaned out in years! Rubbish, such as plastic cups and all sorts are also within these tanks with these beautiful creatures. The building was dirty and so cramped when exploring the oceanarium as footpaths were so narrow and rammed with people. It was impossible to walk around and actually spend time admiring the animal's. Wouldn?t go back to this oceanarium again.

If only could, I would give 10 stars. Despite the long queue (the line), all goes smoothly. The animals, and sharks especially and the giant turtle and octopus were unforgettable for all the family. Really worth going.

I do think it's a bit pricey personally

My 5 year old niece loved this especially the 'nemo tank' where she could pop up inside a viewing bubble within the display. We went in winter so only downstairs cafe was open but food was hot fresh and reasonable with the bonus of a seafront view. Plenty to see and the animals looked healthy and well cared for which I was relieved about. Only issue I had was they allow prams in and there really isn't enough passing room in most of the areas. No one would get out easily in an emergency. A pram park is sorely needed. Most parents ended up carrying their little ones so they could see the animals anyway. Also if you take a back pack wear it on your front to avoid knocking other people's children about accidentally.

Only complaint was how packed and busy it was! Having two small ones (1&3) it was a bit overwhelming trying to make sure no one barged into them / pushed in front of them (which unfortunately happened a few times) and making sure they got to see everything. Maybe a staggered entry time slot would be a good idea. To keep a steady flow of peopleOther than that the place itself was amazing , so much to see and for a great price ! A lot better than others we've been to. Family ticket of 3 was so cheap for a day out ! Will be going again maybe try a early morning see if it's less busy

It was really good! Just in the End of the visit was a bit hot, especially when it is busy.

Lovely time with my 1yr old granddaughter. We went at opening time in half term so it wasn't busy but was by the time we left. Buy tickets online the day or 2 before attending as its cheaper and the tickets being valid for the whole day is great too. Would recommend it and the only reason for not giving 5 stars was buggy park was up in the 1st floor which was a little inconvenient.

Very good use of space inside, lots of interesting fish as you would hope. Decent sized tanks. Good day out for the family.Booked tickets in advance to save a couple of quid. Not bad priced season tickets if you live close enough to use them enough.
