Very useful shop with helpful staff. What a pity it has had no loose tea for two weeks.

I like the food BUT using their Self Service Till is an utter waste of my time. There are usually problems with them, meaning you have to wait ages for an assistant to come because several other tills are also holding everyone up with problems.

My favorite place to shop in the area. Top quality foods, nice selection of wines, flowers and a bakery corner with lovely freshly baked bread and pastries. The Gastropub range and meal deals are amazing-they have the best Chicken Kiev and super delicious deserts.

At the till there were some issues which isn't why I'm rating this place so low, the issues were technical and not the cashier's fault at all.The issue came when the cashier said to move to the next till over as the scales worked there. So I began moving, once again, this wasn't an issue for me as I only had 2 items. The problem was the staff that were chatting at those working tills, two individuals having a lovely chat. I asked them which till would be best and they pointed me back to the broken till even after having been part of the conversation.I said it was broken and I was told to move to one of these working till and once again I was shooed off. This was my first time in this shop, and I was concerned about using cash at the self check out, hence insisting on a till. But no, I was told once again only the broken till was active and that there was self checkout. The blatant disregard and confusion left me just wanting to leave and not come back.Regardless I went to self check out and managed with some help from a lovely woman working in that section. As I was leaving the original cashier apologized from across the room, bless her. This may seem a small thing but it was enough for me to want to avoid this place in the future as an autistic young adult. The staff was made me feel confused and frustrated and by not helping or showing consideration for a customer, I doubt I will come back.Hopefully other people find this helpful.

When I'm feeling flush I join the royalty of Westbourne. I tug my forelock and doff my cap and keep a respectful distance so I don't offend. I'm proud of being English where my superiors and betters allow me to feed at their watering hole.

Once upon a time shopping at M&S was a nice experience, no longer it become a third rate overpriced lidle but it's the overentitled rude arrogant ilmannered customer base with the get out of my way am in a hurry attitude that can reduce athe most passive person to mass murder I for one will never shop there again Phil hodge
