Rude staff, store absolutely heaving and long queues.I queued up in the wrong line, couldn't see that I queued in the wrong line until you get to the tills due to the amount of people in the line, then the girl on the till told me I had to line up elsewhere as they refused to serve me.Went and queued up at the refund counter to take stuff back, while waiting at that queue I met a young lad from JD who was free to go get me trainers.I was hoping to exchange till would exchange them , but oh no that's not in his job description to help nor was it allowed, so he refused and refunded what I was taking back for my daughter to go on a gift card for me to have to re queue again at the tills to pay for the Trainers the lad got me and put behind the tills..If I hadn't asked the lad to get the trainers I had asked him to get I would of walked out without buying them to be honest.But unfortunately I was taking the stuff back for my daughter who unfortunately gave me her wrong credit card to put the money back on.So instead I had to get a store card with the balance on, he refused to sell me the trainers from the balance then I had to re join the long queue for the 4th time then after queuing for another 10 minutes he only ends up serving me yet again......Brains are definitely lacking in this store.Manager needs to pull his finger out and sort the rude staff, then he needs to have big high signs to show till lines then return till, when it's that busy you can't see the stupid signs they have on the queue line when people are standing in front of them.????.Then he needs to teach his staff customer service, spending near on an hour queing 4 different times is not something I will ever do again.#badmanagement

Hey there I had to pop into JD to day to get a voucher for a friend, as I use a mobility scooter the staff at the were extremely help and understanding, where as some places can make one feel worthless so just want to thank you for the grate customer service ??

Two days ago I witnessed a very bad behaviour from one of the staff there towards a gentleman with his wife , extremely rude , he had the audacity to scream at them saying get out of my shop ?? he claimed to be the manager ??? Making even worse !! I won?t be going there anymore .

Went into JD Castle Point, picked up Adidas large men?s Sweatshirt & medium tracksuit bottoms that both had orange discounted stickers, I then asked the assistant for a larger size track suit bottoms he went out to the store room & brought back a larger size that also had a discounted orange sticker. I picked up some other items and went to the till, the lovely assistant on the till put the items through the till. I questioned the total price and said the tracksuit bottoms & top are discounted, he said he would have to call the manger, he came over and said these aren?t discounted, he went to check the other sizes on the shop floor, he came back and said none of the other items have discounted orange stickers on, I said yes they have, he argued and said he would have to take the stickers off and I was to pay full price, and that he wouldn?t sell them at the stated discounted price, he was really quite rude. I said surely you have to honour the stated price on the items, he said no and took the stickers off and again was quite rude. I brought just the track suit bottoms at full price and asked the assistant to take off the top. My daughter & I checked the remaining stock on the way out of the shop and a couple of the items had the orange stickers half ripped off. The manager had lied he had actually removed all the orange stickers on the other items and said that none of them had a discounted price. Although the retailer doesn?t have to honour the wrongly advertised price, they don?t need to be rude, sneaky & lie making the customer feel small, JD, sort out your customer service! without customers you wouldn?t have a business. The manager needs more training.

Very rude manger , i did complain to him on customer service and every two day i speak with customer service to know result about investigation between area manger and castelpoint manger .

I went in there this afternoon, 23/6/23 and immediately a young man said if I needed help to just ask, which I did. He knew exactly what I was looking for, requested my size. Within minutes they had arrived and another young man called Connor, was fantastic. He was friendly, helpful, chatty. Best service I've had in any shop in the UK. Thank you for your assistance Connor. I'll no doubt be back. Sheena - the South African!!.

Worst shop and staff. They select the most useless people to work here. On top of that most items are seconds and not like original for some reason. No refund policy still remains illegal but no one does anything about it
