Worst experience with HSBC in general, not the branch. Have my account with them for 6 months with regular salary deposits and never negative on the credit but denied for credit card thrice while my other colleagues in the similar situation got accepted with NatWest. Definitely switching.

Setting up an online bank account for business is a nightmare!Staff is slow, rude and incompetent, + THEY CHARGE FOR MONEY WITHDRAWALS.I'll move my account shortly and will avoid here forever.

Not been here before & do not plan to come back, waited 30 mins to resolve an online application I/d issue. It seems that the back office is now at the front & the bank is somewhere out the back. Car parking costs a bomb & the only other option is Christchurch as all former local branches have been closed.We went to Colchester recently, 6 staffed banks in the high street,the Co-Op bank had its own bus stop, a clean tidy place no graffiti, plenty of historic architecture, so unlike littered, graffitied, glass n concrete cess pit, locally known as BoMo.

Refused to serve me because they were closing in 40 minutes after being sent to this branch by another branch. And the problem I need solving is that my card was being rejected for multiple online payments despite my account always have surplus funds; which is entirely their fault and I was unable to get it sorted out online. They asked to book another time. The receptionist is nice, he tried. But the other staff didn?t even try to solve my problem. I have to work Monday to Friday, and I took a day off for it. It?s a waste of my time! They should hire more staff!
