Have had 3 experiences over the years that were not kind helpful or in one case humane. This was years ago and maybe they have improved but once bitten

I know most rehoming organisations try to connect new owners and animals but, in my recent experience, the RSPCA goes the extra mile. Thank you so much for my beautiful cat.

Adopted two dogs, Chad in June and Taylor yesterday.Very kind helpful staff who took time to ensure a good match. They keep in touch after the adoptions and like to receive updates. The care and love given to rehabilitate animals that have suffered cruelty is amazing.

Adopted two cats from here 26 years ago and they were wonderful. Recently lost our cat and was thinking of going back but reading some of these reviews I won't bother. Obviously different staff who have a bit of an attitude towards the public who help and donate.

I'm sure they do a good job, but didn't seem very grateful for my donated items unfortunately

When enquiring about a MRI I was quite rudely told they can't afford a MRI scanner as they are a charity, so go and find a specialist somewhere else. Maybe, you could afford an MRI scanner if Chris Sherwood, the CEO of RSPCA donated some of his £150,000 earnings he takes from the charity each year! Disgusting

Turned away at the door by a surly receptionist who barked at us telling us that the entire centre is now shut to the public and we can only see animals online. What kind of animal charity prevents you from seeing the animals?Arrived with the express intention of considering adoption of a cat, and left with the express intention of buying from a breeder.Jobsworth at the desk blamed "covid", in 2023. Several sneering pensions looked in with seeming elation. No clear note on the website to say the centre is no longer accessible to the public. Used to be able to see all the animals - when I queried this with the gatekeeper she was most unhappy that my memory stretched back further than her tenue. She had the power after all.Disgraceful and typical corporate charity. Not about the animals, all about power and policy.

I visited there this morning to collect some ratty boys who needed a new home. Everyone was so lovely, and the boys we adopting look as if they have been very well cared for.The correspondence and adoption process was also handled both professionally and quickly, we were really impressed with everything that they do.

What a great place. The staff are very friendly & helpful. They have good knowledge of the animals in their care, which they treat with love & compassion. They found a lovely dog for us, who has settled into our family perfectly. Thankyou Ashley Heath team. You're doing a great job.

We adopted our rabbit from Ashley Heath last year. The centre was so welcoming to me and my children and we visited a couple of times to make sure our chosen bunny was a good fit. The centre staff were kind and knowledgeable and we felt well supported at each stage of the process. The RSPCA were very diligent and supportive and I highly recommend adopting from Ashley Heath.
