The staff can be awfully rude over the phone and don't apologize when they make mistakes! For instance, on quite a few occasions some post people that were covering for the usual ones, when ill or on leave, couldn't be bothered any less in performing a proper job, and just dumped mail or parcels on the ground, without using the letter box, when I live in a house, there's no excuse for that!! Worse than that even, they walked away with my parcels many times saying , no one was in, when I was, just because they couldn't even be bothered knocking my front door! They never even left a card stating a re- delivery!! I had no choice but to call Royal Mail customer services to raise complaints a number of times. At least the staff in customer services were apologetic and nice, but I can't say the same about the sorting office! Our local post lady, Sandra it's very good, she always knocks my door as it should be and is polite, she deserves 5 stars, but not the depot which has awfully impolite staff!!

Customer hostile. Used to both have parking and sensible opening hours. Now there's no parking and it's only open for 2 hours a day. Both show complete contempt for their customers.

Open for 2 hours a day?? 8-10 AM Makes parcel collection almost impossible for anyone working normal working hours. Just looking to cut down costs and maximise profit clearly.

Service is shocking asked for re delivery but realised no one going to be home to except delivery so went to Totnes to pick up shock horror anybody would think its end of world by the attitude that was used towards me especially as I saved postman the bother of taking back to sorting office again . I have lots of delivery from different companies etc amazon never any bother but royal mail are the worst company around .
