I came here a few times in the 70's, camping with my mum and dad, in fact I learned to swim in the then outdoor pool. (Now indoor). So much nostalgia in this place for me even if most of it now is unrecognisable. The customer service here is second to none, a call a week before you arrive and another call on the day of arrival is a lovely touch but it just gets better from there. We arrived on Saturday afternoon for a seven day stay with an easy uncomplicated check in and a map to the chalet which we found very easily. Upon entering you are met with a spotlessly clean living area, with all of the appliances you could possibly need, a real home from home feeling. The bed was already made up so all that was left for us to do was a quick unpack and relax. This really is a holiday spot that has decided to go above and beyond the normal and if you add to that the location with stunning views and fabulous walks which our dogs appreciated then you really cant lose. Totally recommended, we are already looking at when we can come next!

I own a lodge at CoastView and it is in a stunning location. However, the communication between the site management team and the lodge owners could be better as issues, such as inadequate wifi connectivity, remain unresolved and this leads to disappointment and mars an otherwise beautiful experience. Having said that I love it here but read the contract carefully and go in with ?your eyes open?If you are considering buying into the CoastView Community knock on the door of a lodge owner who can put you in touch with the WhatsApp group and have chat.

We have just got back from a weeks break in a Gold Lodge. The Lodge was excellent with a fantastic view out to sea.Helen in reception was very helpful. The only downside is lack of Wi Fi, but your on holiday and you can catch up when you get home. Site was very clean and tidy.

Don?t go to the restaurant, five minutes after closing time for breakfast i.e. 11.05 on Sunday are you will be turned away. We live locally, and it was just my daughter and I, so not exactly a massive task ! I won?t be going again. Well done on excellent customer service, not!

If you are contemplating staying here then definitely book it! We used to stay at Devon Valley and loved the location by the river but this place is next level! It has a great location on top of the cliff meaning you get good views from your accommodation. The site is amazing and the accommodation was out of this world. We booked a silver Lodge and it was brand new, just like a show home. Pet friendly too as we took our dog. It was very spacious and was just a shame we didn't get to enjoy it for longer as we went out for the most part of the day. The site is bigger than I expected and I discovered if you walk to the top of the site, there is a gate which takes you out on to a quiet country round. I bumped into a lovely man who lived on the site who recommended I walk up the road to the brow of the hill to enjoy the scenery. I did this and wasn't disappointed, the views were stunning! We ate in the restaurant on site on evening which was lovely. The front windows were open and looked out onto the sea. The food was fantastic, we had pizza and could take our dog along. All the staff we came across on reception were lovely, especially Kate who we saw the most. I really hope we get to visit again soon!

Used this park as nearby Devon Valley has closed. Much more modern lodges. Very nice inside, pet friendly highly recommendedDog-friendliness: Some lodges are dog friendly and are off a high standard

We have just stayed here for a week celebrating my birthday. What a beautiful and quiet place with stunning coastal views. The lodges are lovely, spotless, modern and very well equiped with everything and more that you could wish for. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and happy to help if there is anything you need. The restaurant is lovely too with good quality food. We will be back Coast View.

Good food at the Bucket and Spade, pity their opening hours are not as user friendly as they could be. Staff are pleasant and helpful, and the views are tremendous. Breakfast is excellent, enjoyed by the family on several occasions.

Had a 3 bedroom lodge for a week in September 2022. Not the cheapest but worth every penny. Lodge was excellent, superbly equipped, probably the best we have stayed in. Really good. But the view was ...... ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUSLY AMAZING. Every time we came back to the lodge or got up in the morning the view was breath-taking. We shall be returning without doubt. Helped by excellent weather but even without that, as I say, worth every penny. The village of Shaldon is great too.

We stayed in a silver lodge for 4 nights. The site called as we were travelling down to say that the lodge was ready. The lodge we stayed in was perfect very clean, lovely fluffy towels. We really enjoyed our trip, my husband has a disability and uses a electric scooter if you had a wheelchair you may find you could not stay here due to the hill of the site. The view there for is to die for, amazing.

I font usually fo this however. We booked what was duppost to be a lodge. This is no way a lodge, it is more of a small chalet. The chalet itself is nice but very small, The kitchen is small woth hardly any cupboard space no extractor fan on the cooker. We payed over thousands pond for a week, it certainly is not worth yhst around of money. You cannot park your car as you on the top of s hill, on the 2nd layer, rely dilly as you have to pl or your luggage up a massive hill. There is a sea veiw, However there is a .massive tree In.front this partially blocks the veiw The club on.site is very expensive, you cannot vape even outside. No shop on site its 5 mins in car to nearest shop. Definitely not for disabled or any one who has trouble walking
