“We haven't been to this particular Premier Inn before, and we were surprised at its size. The car park was totally full and my husband had to drop us off and drive round to what I supposed to be an overflow car park at the back, and the fee for 24 hours was six pounds. I asked the girl at reception if I could get milk anywhere and she kindly gave me a glass full, which was really kind. The room was as clean and comfortable as expected but we couldn't get any hot water out of the bathroom tap. I think it's a water saving device. We would like to mention in particular Keaton, who was our waiter at breakfast. He was really helpful and charming. The only drawback was that my scrambled eggs arrived when I was half way through my cereal and I would have liked a little more time to enjoy my continental breakfast first.”

“The accommodation was excellent (except the almost silent air conditioning unit, at night). The location was excellent. The staff were very helpful & friendly. I was able to work on the room and the view over the city was great!”

“The lobby, ample space, the rooms are spacious, and great value for money. It doesn't feel overly crowded, even with a constant flow of check-ins and check-outs. Parking is free. Will stay again.”

“We stayed for our anniversary and the hotel definitely was worth the drive. The staff were very pleasant and did everything that was pre-arranged with flowers and room decoration prior to arrival. The suite was beautiful and the addition of on site spa was very nice. We enjoyed a wonderful massage and thoroughly enjoyed the pool and steam room facilities. All in all would definitely stay again.Rooms: Room was of very nice taste. It was very large and exceedingly clean. We did book a suite and it definitely met up to expectations with a wonderful view and beautiful jacuzzi bathtub. The bed was large and comfortable. Only two notes are we had to ask for hairdryer and the odd piece of furniture was a little worn. But on the whole would love the room again.”

“The staff here are excellent. I was an hour early for check-in and they gave me a complimentary drink even though I was happy to wait for the room to be ready. Room was comfortable, clean and aircon was fantastic. Food was really great and service was on point. Tables could be cleared a bit quicker but could have been down to low staffing. Unfortunately one of the fire alarms sounded at 6am but this was down to someone vaping in a room. This was beyond the control of the hotel staff and at breakfast in the morning I received an apology even though I made no complaint. Breakfast has everything required and again the service was fantastic. I couldn't find any fault with my stay.”

“Stayed unexpectedly because of a hospitalisation. Extremely kind man on reception attempted directing me from the hospital to hotel. I still got lost but he was a much appreciated friendly voice after an awful day.Travelodge have a good property here. It was spotlessly clean, I’ve already mentioned one man on reception, complimented by three other young women that were all friendly and helpful. Organising another room for our son to be next door.I was very surprised just how quiet the hotel was at night. I stayed from Saturday until Tuesday and heard hardly anything. I think the property is possibly used by visiting hospital staff as the only movement I heard was about the time of day prior to the early day shift starting. The Travelodge had plenty of parking and near enough to leave the car and walk to the hospital. Just know that it’s uphill from the hospital on the way back. There was also a large eatery called the Jack Rabbit a two minute walk away across the car park.Thank you to all the staff on reception and servicing the rooms. A job well done.”
