“Bought table and chairs from here after being advised they could better the service and deliver quicker from where we had already ordered. Nothing but trouble wish we had stayed at previous business. Table delivered but chairs have not been delivered. First set had wood worm second set not fit for delivery. Still awaiting someone to inform me what is happening as given up calling them as they say they are just the distributor. Poor service all-round.Have now had A store manager take charge of the issues. Now on top of problem and keeping us properly updated and informed. Hence why now changed review to 5 stars”

“Christmas, Fall and Halloween displays were great. Plenty of stock from toys and snacks to home appliances and decor. The staff were friendly and the shop was clean and all products pulled forward on the shelf edges.”

“I obtained a price online for board material for an amateur construction project and they were able to beat the local timber merchants by a wide margin despite a £30 delivery charge.The delivery time of a couple of days was very competitive too.I cannot thank the two delivery guys enough. They went above and beyond what one has come to expect but these guys were a credit to B&Q. They were very helpful and the products were delivered in prime condition. I will not hesitate to use B&Q Plymouth again for my building materials. Thank you.”

“We visited several furniture places yesterday and chose to come back to ScS today to make our purchase of two 2 seater sofas. Staff were friendly and informative without being overbearing. We were able to take time making final decision and were given guidance about preffered fabrics and colour etc.There was a very good variety of sofas to choose from and everything was clearly marked with options and prices.First time I've made a major purchase without leaving the shop and feeling unsure ten minutes later! Very happy so far with the store and the staff. Will leave another review once the order has been completed and is in situ!”
