The staff are usually helpful and polite but the whole pharmacy feels disorganised. I could go in a week after my prescription is sent over and it still wont be ready. They also never answer the phone. Been trying frequently for the last two days and they just don?t pick up. Shame really. It?s handy that they?re open late as they?re the only pharmacy around that are.

My doctors sent an emergency prescription because I was in desperate need and in a great deal of pain. When I got to the chemist they informed me it would take 48 hours to dispense. Absolutely shocking , I was in agony and they wouldn?t do it.

Rubbish service can?t get prescriptions right take to long to do prescriptions 10days still waiting rubbish costumer service won?t use again once I finally get my medication never answer the phone either absolute joke of a chemist

I don?t like being negative as I?m fully away how stretched Pharmacies are at the moment but I do feel this store needs to be more organised.Unfortunately every time we have been here have been issued with getting the medication, whether they have to order it in (which is fine) but being told it will arrive the next day and turning up a few days later and it?s still not in or ready. Another time we had an urgent out of hour?s prescription, my husband waited for about 45 minutes and everyone around him had gone, he spoke to the assistant who found the prescription in the box next to them and were like ?oh, we don?t have it?He was was frustrated as he?d seen someone put something in the box about 20 mins before so he was waiting without being told.The latest issue which has prompted me to write this review. I had a prescription that had been put in a week prior for my son, it?s a medication which needs to be ordered in (but it?s not a problematic one) so I gave it the week for them to order before going to collect. When I went to get it I was told that it hadn?t been ordered and wasn?t in stock so I had to go elsewhere to see if they had any (they didn?t) and now we are 3 days later and he hasn?t had his medication for 2 days now. Fortunately it?s not a life threatening item.The staff themselves seem lovely and are helpful but it is just disorganised!

The working hours ate from 7:00 am til 23:00 pm, for the last few days I have trying to get my prescriptions around 22:30 pm as the pharmacy is closed , with no information why or if they change their working hours . And even if my prescriptions are send from my GP , always have to wait 2 days for them to have all ready as they never have the prescriptions ready . Such a bad service .

I'd give him nothing if I could. Ran out of my inhaler while visiting friends. Did the NHS 111 Google application for an inhaler and was ready to pay. Pharmacist refused as I was Scottish!!! Tried to get written prescription from NHS 111 on the Sunday. By Tuesday I'd still not heard back. God help you if your stuck!! Disgraceful from both!

Always helpful and ready to explain. Having tried three other pharmacies in the district I'm sticking with Asda after five monthly visits.

Both pharmacies are absolute waste of time. Long queues always and one person attending to. The Speedwell has nothing even for a painkiller.

Amazing Pharmacy and amazing Staff, new staff coming and going, but there's a very nice new member of the Asda team Called Crystal, and she makes every trip to Asda worth my weight!Very friendly staff, and go beyond their paygrade to assist and help you out!

Tried to call this pharmacy from Cornwall as my daughter desperately needed her sensor and glucose strips to test her CBS?s as she is an unstable Diabetic due to other problems the Diabetes has given her. Checked on line to see if they were open it said it closes at 11pm but may change due to bank holidays. We travelled to Plymouth from Cornwall as Bodmin chemist wouldn?t give my daughter these items as she didn?t have the script the day before. We went to Liskeard Boots who were quite helpful they did have the sensors my daughter needed but didn?t have the blood test strips. NOT one Chemist would pick the phone up today. We did chance Asda as our last resort, as it said 11pm closure, but may change due bank holiday we were aware of this but thought it meant maybe close at 18.00?.? we just made it and was told by this Woman I am not doing anymore prescriptions today, I tried to explain we had travelled far but she wasn?t interested nor did she ask ask what we needed to travel so far I tried to speak, no one listened, we were left inflated., and exasperated. The Woman did say there wasn?t any other chemist open, so why didn?t she have alittle empathy and ask us what we needed or try to help us. As we travelled so far, My daughter will be beside herself tonight as she CANNOT check her blood sugars! This isn?t just today we have tried to get these items it?s been nearly a week!Why isnt there help out there for ?out of hours? Diabetics as this is a life threatening issue!!! I don?t understand this. But there is help out there for others who have health issues!One concerned parent!

Unacceptable customer care, the entire store could hear the staff mocking a waiting customer about a prescription from the stock room.
