Travis Perkins Exeter didn?t realise closing at 12 ment no yard service around 11.45 only a moaning yard man complaining he had a train to catch and telling me the lady in the store was cashing up. Not that this would affect me as we are account holders. I only wanted 9 copings getting down. Would have taken minutes. So a wasted journey and fuel from dawlish. Thank you

Incredible helpful, I have to give top stars. Delivered when they said they would, everything came exactly as it was ordered.When I needed help, they helped me. It is so rare to find these days. I felt as though the staff really care about doing a great job. Special thanks to Naomi Tear in the store and Adrian, Mark and Martin in deliveries. We've had 3 seperate deliveries so far and will keep going back. Thank you.

Great online ordering. Confronted with 8 staff members in store when collecting all chatting and no one wanted to help me collect my order. Even went as far as avoiding eye contact. Was told to go and wait for a man who was currently on the phone, he was helpful, but only had to print one sheet before telling me to go outside for the collections. I'm sure anyone could have printed that sheet. Went outside to find someone, and there was no one in the yard, saw some guys in hi viz at the back and was immediately told to get out of the staff area. Other customers were also visibly irritated about the slow and rude service. To top it off, the staff member who was sent to help me couldn't then use the forklift, so we had to wait until the chatting was over before someone who could actually started some work. Won't be using Travis Perkins again.

Waited 10 days for delivery was then told it would be another 3 days because they hadn't got all my bits. Got confirmation of delivery between 11am-1pm turns 3.15pm and then they put the wrong size downpipe on the delivery even though all the clips were the right size, so kinda obvious that something was wrong, now have to wait till Monday to get this sorted. Not good service at all, really poor, especially as we are a trade customer

I often use Travis Perkins to get materials for work. But, unfortunately, you have to wait what seems like ages at the till because most of the staff bury their heads in paperwork or stare at their computers.....

Needed dumpy bag of gravel. Ordered online and delivered in a few days. Great communication by store and driver. Wasn't in, but driver called for instructions. Good price and good service.

They never answer the phone or emails, sent our engineer in there to see if something was in stock, told it is but found after a 10 minute wait it isn't. Service is totally unacceptable.Went to Screwfix in the end.

Poor customer service resulting in us no longer using travis perkins as a business, the branch looks fantastic and is full of stock which is great to see. But the service is beyond terrible. The branch is totally under staffed and the people working on the trade counter and not bothered or to busy messaging on there personal mobiles. We asked to place a order worth 82k and the process from start to end was extremely poor, we ended up placing the order with Jewson. Yes we have paid more but we are paying more for materials and gained a better service, travis has always been our preference but not anymore unfortunately. It?s a huge shame as I am the senior buyer for a large house builder company and enjoyed working with Travis in the past but those days have now gone. We will not be returning to Travis perkins exeter or Travis perkins as a whole after this experience. We gave the branch 4 chances and that was enough for us.I am in the process of moving all of our business to a new supplier not just exeter.The branch could do with more staff that want to work and are not sat on their mobile phones.Staff who are available to take orders and communicate back to us where we are and when we can expect delivery on site.Email responses back or response to our voice mails and phone calls.A representative that cares and wants to see our weekly orders from start to finish.Hopefully someone can take this on board as the branch and stock in sat in the branch looks fantastic. But poor service will not sell building materials as we all know.Kind RegardsPaul Knowles
