Another fantastic experience at Exeter blue banana, i absolutely love visiting this shop, all the staff are wonderful, and Kyle who has done several of my piercings and is so patient with a slightly eccentric middle aged woman has been amazing. Thank you so much ?

Went in today because my week old piercing done in another store came out overnight and I couldn?t find the bar the next morning so I needed to buy a new one. I just want to say thank you to the lovely staff member who got me a new one and put it in for me free of charge! Absolute life saver :)

The old shop was better. Now, it is way too small, causing issues getting in and out when there are queues. Lack of stock variety; range has been limited. Such a shame as it was once the best place to go for all clothing and accessory needs.

I'm late posting this review, but I did let the manager know I would be putting my review online so here it is. I went into blue banana for a jewellery change on the 22/01, I was told by the manager nobody's in until 2.Returning at 2 to find out I was then in a queue, because the manager hadn't booked me in. So I return again when receiving a text this time, I had a very simple request to change jewellery to plastic for MRI scan. However this was a disaster, lots of pain and bleeding, carried out by a supposedly professional piercer. Obviously after this happened, I returned to the lady who had originally pierced my septum. Still in a great deal of pain, I was reluctant to keep my piercing and thought I would have to take it out. Thank goodness for this professional lady, she could immediately see what had been done to me.My septum had been torn, larger plastic jewelry had been put into all my piercings, causing much bigger holes to be ripped into my skin. The Blue Banana "Piercer" also used a needle still with the plastic cover on, to guide a plastic piercing through, which was completely unsterile and very very painful.I later returned to blue banana to speak to the manager, who said that It was not true and no refund, partial or full, was offered. The Exeter Blue Banana manager is very rude and highly unprofessional. I urge anybody looking to get a piercing to go to a professional, not a blue banana piercer.

Staff were so friendly and very knowledgeable, jade was the piercer and she explained everything amazingly and made sure you felt comfortable before she started the piercing. 10/10 experience. will be coming back!!

Recently had a couple of piercings here performed by the lovely Jade. She was thorough, talked through the piercing and lovely and friendly. The studio was clean and comfortable.Will be going to her again for my piercing needs.. Shop staff and booking staff were polite and helpful too. Great experience

Today I got my belly button pierced by Laura and had the best experience. After a bad experience the last time I got it pierced, Laura helped me and was so lovely. She spent such a long time making sure I was happy with the placement (even getting a second opinion from Lou) and allowed me to lay down for around 10 minutes afterwards. Honestly the best experience I have had getting a piercing and will definitely be coming back and asking for Laura! Definitely recommend, thank you!

One star review because I had my seconds done here in 2021 and after 2/3 weeks it he top came off so I went back and they put a new one on with a different piercer and it came out again because they didn?t do it tightly and I also had my nose pierced here before and the piercer made me clean my own nose and took ages to do it and eventually it had a keliod and I had to pay £80 for this to be removed so I don?t recommend hereI do recommend Megan in ink she is amazing and she does piercings for really good prices :)

Just got my tongue pierced by Lou, great experience. I went in all shaky an came out smiling, keeping in mind the piercing. She talks you through it and after the preparation (disinfection, marking, etc) I basically blinked a slightest bit longer than normal and it was done. Every single piercings I?ve ever had here has been pierced wrong without fail. My belly button pickering for example, was piercing way too close to the surface of my skin and as a consequence ripped out through the front of my stomach entirely when it caught on my trousers taking them off. Another helix piercing I had ripped out on a water slide (which if pieced properly would never happen) and has now left a permanent awful scar on my ear.They won?t tell you if you don?t have the right anatomy for a piercing, which I learned as I went to another piercer as they inspected my very infected scaffolding piercing, which they said never would?ve been pierced my any professional they knew.Don?t be fooled by the cheap prices, there?s a reason for them.
