Staff gave been fine with myself but the state of the shop is terrible. The floor is very dirty with build up of grime etc in corners and doorways. The shelves are also need a good clean. This is just the public space so goodness knows what the other side of the counter is like. Really needs to have a deep clean.

Such slow service. Constantly unable to get through on the phone and when you go in the prescription is so rarely ever ready. That?s if the pharmacy is even open as they will often just randomly shut early.

No one ever answers the phone; often closed during what are supposed to be 'opening hours'. They are, I understand, short staffed, but I feel I can only give one star because it's supposed to be a vital service, and this area is bereft of pharmacies as it is. I certainly don't feel I could rely on this branch for repeat prescriptions - I'd worry they'd never be open for me to collect anything.

Probably the worst store I have used. Staff rude and aggressive, to everyone waiting in line, twice gave me the wrong prescription (somebody else?s ) and refused to refund me despite confirming with the doctor they had never prescribed. Shop is regularly closed with just a note stuck in the window. They are often in the store with the door locked and won?t acknowledge you. Tried for 3 weeks to collect a prescription but closed. We all have staff shortages, we all are tired and overworked but that?s no excuse to be nasty to people.

I went in to the store at 5:15 to pick up a prescription. The staff was awfully rude to me, I've been waiting for my meds since Friday. They Refused to do my Medication and repeatedly reminding me they close at 6pm. I said, you close in 45 minutes. And still refused I won't be going back there

This used to be such a fantastic store. What has happened. Today I have been lied to by Iona who stated all my prescriptions were dated the 16th, yet when we went in today I asked to see evidence of an emergency script which was clearly dated the 15th. When calling later to find out if me prescriptions were ready I was told by someone (possibly Amy), that she hadn?t even had at break so I had to be patient.All well and good, especially when you had spoken to both a Consultant and GP on Tues who wanted you started on new meds as soon as possible. When I went to the store to pick up my prescription the pharmacist (I assume), she was of Chinese ethnicity clearly said ?Is that her?, At that point I said ?Hi, Yes it?s me, at which point 2 of them came to a cash desk, told me I had been disrespectful and was barred from the store. Where is customer service, certainly not in Boots Buckfastleigh!!!!!!!!?

I went in for something and ended up having my flu jab.. how convenient .. how lucky to have this chemist in a small town .. use it or lose it .. smile and the world smiles back at you

The new manager of this branch is unfortunately very rude and unhelpful, which is a shame given that it used to great here. Go elsewhere if possible.
