Tried to open a kids account to be told they don?t do an under 11s!According to the website they doNot only have you just lost a kids account but now I?ll be moving mine tooIll informed staff who didn?t really care much for the several customers waiting!Very disappointed

Went today to deposit money into my youngster's account 50p coins 2bags at £10 while there I just asked if I could also pay in a bag with £5 in on the understanding I know that they need tobe £10 bags did not bother me if I could not I did explain this however was told they will take it but it has tobe £10 minimum only and that next time they will not accept it as I say did not have to take it did not bother me if you use the city centre one staff are a lot more polite if it was my choice would move to another bank

Staff are always friendly and very helpful. Yes sometimes you have to queue. I check out on line prior to going what their least busy times are. During covid staff were asking people in the queue what sort of transaction they were carrying out and offered to help them use the ATM machine it was surprising how many people accepted this offer, and could use this option most of the time and not take up staff time unnecessarily for customers whose transactions need to be made at the counter,

I am so tired of going to this Branch and being asked to use the ATM when I am not comfortable using it.When I go to this Branch more often than not there is not a queue and go straight to the counter but I am still told to use the ATM, it's getting to the point where I dread going to the Bank.I transferred my account to the Nationwide from the NatWest for the same reason to save me the stress every month. The excuse of covid for using the ATM seems weak as nobody cleans them after each customer and what is the difference between handling my plastic card and an account book. I just want to be SERVED!.

Very poor. Went here today to pay in a cheque. After queuing for half an hour I was asked to stand in the right hand queue. They only question I was asked was what I wanted to do, pay in a cheque I said. When I went inside the cheque was to high in value to pay in via the machine. At no point was I asked the value of the cheque. I was then put at the front of the outside queue which meant I was a further half dozen people further back then when I had first queued. Gave up and walked off. You really need to to ask the right questions when placing people in a queue. This may well result in my account being moved to somewhere more professional. First time I have used this branch since opening my account - won?t be going back.To be asked to wait twice as long due to their error, not acceptable.Don?t assume peoples cheques are less than £1k in future then you may not lose their accounts!

At morning went for cash deposit.Adviser come ask me is it less then £2000. yes! i have £1700 ! Staff said she can do in the machine.i said I dont want to deposit in the machine I want to go to the counter.i am not feeling comfortable using machine and adviser keep telling me to go deposite machines and I was keep saying 2 3 times i dont want to use mechines.Adviser replied for my safety and their !! I didn't see any of them sanitizing the deposite machines after customer using it which is more dangerous then go to counter ! They should stay home !! what a joke! is it actually for safety or laziness not to counting money by themself at the counter then I walk away and have to find another branch deposited my cash.Never use this service.Avoide ! Lazy staff poor customer service.

There is a real lack of non Derby Town Centre based banks left and Nationwide in Allenton is one of them. I find this branch really handy to visit with free parking and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

Overall I have received helpful and friendly service. The queues tend to be quick moving and not too long. I wish it was open longer on a Saturday. There has been occasion when I have arrived very close (2 min) to closing and the staff have not let me in ... when you have an obvious little baby in a pram I have found this a little mean.
