“We have stay in quiet a few Premier inns. Stayed here before. But it's looking tired, and it needs to have a little up grade to keep things working efficiently. . The staff were very pleasant and helpful.”

“Only stayed overnight as part of a park and fly booking. Room was excellent, location is only a couple of minutes drive to the airport.Receptionist was efficient, but not very friendly or welcoming.Free transfer bus to the airport runs every 20 minutes 24 hours a day”

“After having a flight cancelled by TUI we were put in this hotel. The staff were amazing, so welcoming and professional. Could not fault the level of service. Food very good, spa and pool areas very good. Rooms clean comfortable and warm. I will now always consider this hotel when we are in the area.”

“We come for a couple of nites for our wedding anniversary, and I must say the food was amazing by chef logan and the women who's name was dee dee at the front counter who was on who was doing the bar bringing food out and checking people in was amazing very helpful and polite and couldn't do enough for you I think they both should get rewarded for there service to the hotel”

“Next to Toby carvery domino's pizazz aldi and several other takeaways nice park nearby quiet room even though it was at the front of hotel plenty of parking. What more can you say clean room comfortable”

“Awesome customer service, beautiful welcoming duty manager - i want to say Dina - but I may be wrong....The room was accessible and the breakfast was great!Had a lengthy chat with Dina (apologises if that's not your name!) when I checked out and will be passing on some nuanced feedback regarding things wheelchair related - but generally a great stay for what I needed for a short stop in Derby!”

“First time we have stayed in a holiday inn express, and hopefully it won't be our last , we arrived by train and the hotel is about a 10 minute walk away, we was greeted by a very friendly member of staff who explained everything to myself and my wife. The room was really good and spotless.. overall a great stay and would love to come back...oops nearly forgot the breakfast was great ?”

“Friendly staff when you checked in and they recommended the local take away which was very handy. The check in and check out process was very quick and faultless. The room it self was very quiet and very comfortable. When checking out I do recommend the Greggs next door for breakfast.”

“Typical Travelodge, brilliant location two minutes from East Midlands airport.Loads of food outlets on site, staff real friendly.Rooms pretty good, we had a family room which had two singles and a double so space for everyone.Like the majority of these motels it could do with a spruce up, I'm sure it's on the to-do list but it serves its purpose more than adequately.Wouldn't hesitate to return as the price is always good and the posher hotels just around the corner come in at nearly double.”

“Very helpful and friendly staff extremely accommodating to my needs, went above and beyond! Jasmine was so nice and professional and really helpful as well … same with another staff member who came down to help me with my bags the night i checked ( I’ve forgotten her name!) .. they also offered to take my bags down to the parking lot for me on checkout! Loved the breakfast buffet.”

“We had the Sunday carvery. Excellent food, excellent staff. Only one small issue was the plates were not heated so the food quickly chilled. Apart from that thoroughly enjoyed our first visit and will definitely be back.”

“Well run hotel and good location. Has car parking and Beefeater restaurant on site. It has Aldi supermarket next door (useful for snacks etc). Opposite is Royal Derby Hospital which is useful if visiting someone.”

“The hotel was very busy when we arrived as two events were taking place. However, our room on the third floor was adequate and we weren’t disturbed overnight by overspill ‘party revellers’. The following morning’s breakfast was again busy but this was clearly due to those who stayed on for one night following the two events and by the time we sat down for breakfast, a lot of people had dispersed. While staying there we made good use of the hotel’s gym and pool facilities which we enjoyed.”
