Big thanks to the 2 staff in Workington branch yesterday Sunday 9th July. After viewing what we needed online we decided to have the face to face contact with our sellers. Both very knowledgeable, friendly and worked hard to get us better deals. Support your local shops. It's not all about online. Thanks againHoward and Lorraine.

Awful, awful experience. Matteress was delivered from a damp warehouse and absolutely stinks. They sent someone out to assess and they admitted there was an issue and stank and it would be sorted. Got an email from management that said the case was being closed and to "air it out"Paid £700 for a mattress we can't even sleep on as the smell is that bad

Be aware if you buy a bed from Bensons for Beds, and it arrives and it is not suitable, Bensons have a no return policy, they do not tell you this, you just find out when you go to send your bed back. I'm stuck with a bed i can't use, as it is too high, i rang to return it to be told, tough you chose it. The quality of the headboard and base is not good, it looks cheap and nasty. I am working with Trading Standards and Watchdog to get my money back.

Delivery was delayed by two weeks. This was extremely inconvenient as i had already made arrangements for the old bed to go by the original delivery date. This left me without a bed for 2 weeks. I complained to my local store and all i got from them was " we cant do anything about it". Not very good customer service.

I have had a horrendous experience with Benson for Beds after ordering wardrobes from the Workington site, to begin the saga the incorrect delivery and assembly date was given and I was initially charged for a mattress protector I never ordered! From then on it was down hill, 16 months later the wardrobes were still not assembled, wardrobes have now been returned and I am still waiting for confirmation that the credit agreement has been cancelled, including £900 interest that was added as a result of Bensons not following through with their word. Customer Relation agents never took ownership, never gave a substantive response horrendous service, never again should be ashamed how you treat customers!

Bought bedroom furniture from this cowboy company. Chest of draws had a imperfection on the top and blistered. Tried for 6 months to resolve the issue. Engineer came to look at it anthor month went by. We phoned them told me the case was closed and no action required on there part. Great customer service i dont think so. Plesse take heed of my warning dont use them
