Great location, shame you have put in parking charges as was an unexpected expense. Hotel was incredibly hot Staff were all friendly and good facilities. Breakfast was varied although English breakfast wasn?t that big. One day breakfast was swift the other very slow. Great view from the restaurant. Not that I use it but the tv is tiny for the room sizes!

We have booked 3 rooms for my father in-laws 8th b days out of two of the three rooms ( no, 53 , 23) over looked brick walls and onto car park. In addition to the large amount of money we oaid we still have to pay £15 per 24 hour stay. In light of size of toilet in room 43 , we needed to the bar toilet. There are hotels available and and would strongly advice to look at rooms before signing check-in paperwork..Rooms: 8th b days out of two of the three rooms ( no, 53 , 23) over looked brick walls and onto car park. A wonderful place and a beautiful lake. You need to tell them the tea a day in advance so they can serve it to you

We really enjoyed our stay at The Belsfield. The views were amazing and the staff were very pleasant and professional. The hotel was close to everything. Will definitely stay here again.

One of the best hotels in the area in terms of location, directly overlooking the lake. The room is very clean, has a reasonable size, and the view is amazing - our reservation was a room overlooking the lake - but the room does not have air conditioning or a refrigerator. You will often need air conditioning, but in the afternoon it can be a little hot, so we had to open the window. Deal. The staff was wonderful, helpful and very respectful, but to be honest, the breakfast was less than normal and not appropriate for the hotel. Its options were very limited and most of it was packaged food, and the spicy dishes were less than normal and had no flavour.Note: The place is high and all stairs, so it may be tiring for the elderly or people with special needs. Also checkout was from 11am I think it's too early :)

The place was really nice, room was massive. Service was good but there was a few issues bringing us the wrong bottle of wine with dinner, room service not bringing milk with the morning coffee and two pepper grinders but no salt. All the staff were helpful and friendly. Overall a fantastic stay.

Booked for afternoon tea. Food was okay, service was lacking, staff quite dismissive, we asked for more tea and one of the wait staff told us to ask someone else.In addition, 2 weeks after our holiday we received a parking charge notice from a private company "Smart Parking" who tried to issue £100 fine for parking in the car park at the Belsfield. We were not informed at any point that we had to register our car with reception. If you are going to use a dodgy private car parking company you should be really hot on informing customers that they need to register their car to avoid this stress..
