“I stayed in the lodge, which is set apart from the main hotel and only has 4 rooms within the lodge building. You can have room service delivered to you room if you like or can book a table in the restaurant. I try to get the room with the bath as it's a massive bath and a lovely place to have a hot bubble bath. I also took advantage of the on-site massage therapist who was fabulous.Nearby activities: Local Abbey ruins and walks.Walkability: Within walking distance of Barrow town centre and Dalton.Food & drinks: Fabulous food, high standards.”

“The hotel was very clean, looks like new carpets which are great, the gentleman was saw when we arrived (Greg) was very helpful recommended somewhere to eat which was fantastic and also helped with our questions about the local football and history.
