Very helpful lady in the post office made our visit one to remember. She made us teas and coffees to carry out to the picnic tables in teapots and mugs, rather than disposable cups. Good prices and a useful selection of snacks, fruit and veg etc. Worth stopping here on your way up or down the penine way even if its just for an ice lolly!
