I sent my 12 year old daughter into boots to pick up some cream for insect bites for her. She was confident enough to ask for help from an assistant as I explained to her that if she couldn?t find it someone working there would always be happy to help her. Anyway she asked for help and was bluntly told sorry we?re out of stock the whole world is looking for that right now and walked off! Thank you Boots for knocking her confidence in going into shops, learning life skills and making her day miserable. Not impressed.

I visited the Truro boots during the Christmas period from London. Although I imagine is is one of their busier periods they seemed very short staffed and I heard a customer complain that it is often like this. On a positive, I was looking for a very particular type of foundation as often find them too heavy and the woman from Estée Lauder was friendly and very knowledgeable in helping me find the perfect one. She also helped me pick up some Christmas presents.

I use the Boots in Pydar St once a week. If you can get your head around the fact that primary care services are hugely overstretched and things are taking longer then you will understand why sometimes you have to wait a little for your medication. The amount of people I see (mainly the elderly) shouting angrily at a member of the pharmacy team is frankly disgusting and I have on a few occasions stepped in to try and explain the pressure the team are under. I work within the NHS myself and I am well aware of the pressure the service is under. We are not in ?the good old days? were the NHS was a jewel in Britain's crown and it ran moderately efficiently, we are at a point where it is at breaking strain and services are bogged down under beuricratic treacle and too many people in the country with more houses being built every day but services not expanded.I listened to one man moan that he had waited for 15 minutes for a walk-in prescription, to me that's not a long time when some 200 repeat scripts are being dumped on pharmacies every day and that's not including walk-ins. The manager Adam dealt with the complaint very professionally and calmly however this was not good enough for the man moaning.I have waited anywhere from 5-60 mins for a prescription which doesn't bother me as I have made the time available to be able to do so and not expected any special treatment.I would like to say a massive thank you to the staff in the pharmacy at Pydar Street who work so hard to ensure the service obligation is met. They work their bloody socks off in there and have more than accommodated myself as a regular user of the service.Next time people have a moan about any part of the NHS service remember that the staff are probably just as frustrated as you are about it however they have no control over improving it.

Booked online for a blood pressure test in store. Emma, the team member who took my test, is an asset to Boots. Took the time to discuss and explain the test and my results, and also helped me purchase a reliable home blood pressure monitor. Shop floor staff were also very helpful and kind. Top notch service which I appreciate a lot.

After having a pretty poor experience Superdrug, I popped over to the pharmacy at Boots and was treated with such good customer service from the lady behind the counter. This will be my go to place for all things health related from now on :)

Estee Lauder representative utterly ignorant & rude!!Too busy doing her paperwork to serve me (potential £40 sale lost by the way) & when she did honour me with her partial attention ie 2 seconds to, as it turned out, incorrectly match me with a foundation before shoving me back to her poor colleague. Never have I been so badly treated in a shop - I will NOT be buying from Estee Lauder in Boots Truro. A shop assistant with delusions of grandeur - get over yourself!

I tried calling twice this morning and waited for ages with no answer. Tried the pharmacy first then general enquiries. I need to know if they have a certain medication that is hard to find apparently, so thought I?d save myself a trip but it seems I?ll have to go in to town just to ask the question.

Abusive staff and toxic behaviourWent to Boots with my friend (we?re both respectable grown women) who wanted help with makeup and I?m a makeup artist and knew exactly what she needed to get. I was trying to shade match her with tinted moisturiser but the No7 young girl was very territorial and aggressive and insisted she did the shade match herself. She was imposing her opinions on my friend without listening to what she wanted and when we said we weren?t happy she started victimising herself unnecessarily saying she doesn?t feel comfortable, making us look like we were doing something bad to her.My friend asked for the shade we needed and we left the No7 counter. We went to Mac to pick up a red lipstick and while I was disinfecting one of them, another young supervisor came and asked us to leave the store because ?we?ve been trying their products?I don?t know since when you?re not allowed to try the testers in a makeup shop. I?ve never seen such disgusting customer service in my life and I used to work on a makeup counter. So to educate the Boots makeup staff because their training is appalling - when a client wants to try the makeup you need to let them have a play with it if you want them to buy, and stop insisting you put it on because ?you?ve had training? - some people don?t like being touched by strangers. Other times I?d been there nobody helped me try on anything, there was no disinfectant and no clean makeup wipes or makeup remover.Boots needs to educate their young employees in manners as well.Never setting foot in that toxic place ever again. Absolutely disgusting customer service they should be ashamed.

This is Truro's superior boots. Friendly staff and helpful pharmacists. If you have a choice, always pick this Boots to avoid awkwardness. The staff are a lot more professional

I have just visited this branch to sort out my mum's medication delivery, the two ladies I had dealings with were absolutely brilliant. Everything was sorted and I appreciate the way they dealt with my query. Thank you .
