Great little cafe that has locally roasted coffee and offers two different (medium or dark) roasts of coffee, which isn't offered in most cafes or "coffee shops". They also do a flat white properly, which makes a nice change; the hot chocolate was nice too.There are great range of cakes on offer, and plenty of vegan options too. We got two individual Victoria Sponges that had a really nice flavour (especially the buttercream, it was smooth and not too sweet) but I felt the sponge itself could have been a little moister. But that's just me being picky, and if I was local I'd definitely order batches for celebrations as they'd be made fresh and there's something to please everyone.In the cafe there's a nice range of local products such as ceramics, cards, tea towels. I'd have loved to have had my drink out of one of the cups. Though the takeaway option means I can mooch about the local units and shops.I'd definitely come back here if I was passing in future.

Ended up stopping here twice last week. Didn?t have any lunch as it was morning but we got some baking and it was absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend stopping by.

I visited Rustic Cakes Cornwall last week for the first time. OMG, the cakes are amazing. I love a cake, but always look for a ?homemade? cake rather than what I call a ?shop bought?. They were by far the nicest cakes I?ve had for some time. The staff were lovely and gave me time to choose. You need time because they all look so amazing! Thank you, will definitely see you again soon.

On holiday to visit my mother for her birthday, we got a cake from rustic cakes made, honestly the best cake I have ever had the chance to sample (raspberry & coconut).So good we got a box of 6 to take home to our family in scotland.We will be back next time ??
