This place is bloody stupid you spend half the lifespan of a fly creating a temple to the god of wealth praying he will bring you the item your looking for and after 5 moons and 5 suns. Once and only once you have completed that bush tucker trial you can move onto stage 2 paying after swerving the piles of rubbish and un stuck stock you can get to the tills but whats this no ones here?!? How funny scream cry shout and moan but no one will come you have failed the task of payment reason: no bloody staff of staff that are constantly high as a kite.

Sainsbury?s been a little bit of a walk from the skate clock for where we were staying. Had absolutely everything you could possibly need. We got a full weeks supply from here and we got the top bits from Sainsbury?s just across the road but otherwise Tesco had everything it was self checkouts, mainly with one person scanning. It was really big for Tescos extra. I think it was on the verge of being a big Tesco?s, but otherwise it works perfectly for us. It?s a Tesco?s so what do you expect?

Great little shop in the middle of cheste. Has a wide range of products, friendly staff, and convenient location. Highly recommended for quick and hassle-free grocery shopping.

Nice little convenience store, good selection of snacks and daily groceries, fresh fruit and plenty of offers. Self service tills worked perfectly which was a nice change.

I went in Tesco on Pepper Street today and was disgusted how dirty it is. At the cashpoints there were finger prints on top of finger prints smeared where you put your groceries to be scanned. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a week.It is atrocious and extremely hygienic when ovid 19 is rife. This store needs disinfecting and scrubbing ifrom top to bottom in the interests of health and safety.

I live a couple of minute?s away from this store and the same distance from a co-op. I normally use this store when going to and from the city centre. I use the co-op when walking the dog as by the river and on our route. Today my dog took me a different way and through the Roman gardens so ended up by this Tesco. Needed to buy bread/milk and a few bits. Looked on the door to see if there was a notice to say ?no dogs? there wasn?t, so went in. Was immediately told by a guy stacking shelves that I couldn?t go in. When I said I looked to see if there was a notice he said that he didn?t need a notice and that he was the manager and could do what he wanted. So I left, never to return ever, for anything. The difference between going into the co op where they welcome dogs and even give them treats, to this rude man?s reception were poles apart. I get that some shops don?t want dogs in and that?s fair enough and if there was a notice to say so I wouldn?t have entered the shop. Or even so,if it was politely pointed out that they don?t want dogs in the shop I wouldn?t have a problem, but the attitude of this guy was just awful for somebody in a managerial position. I really thinks he needs some customer service training and a few manners.

Tesco Express on Pepper Street is a useful location opposite the Grosvenor in Chester town centre, but the store its'-self was disappointing in terms of cleanliness and stock. The store did seem to be a mess with warehouse trolley/cages seem to be just left in the middle of an aisle by certain staff members, it seemed throughout my shop, no staff member approached them to use them or move them out of the way either. I wasn't able to get all of the items I came in for either, so did have to go elsewhere to the nearby Sainsbury's Local store which was considerably better, the only benefit this location has over Sainsbury's is it has a coffee machine which is useful if you're in a rush. 2*
