Absolutely brilliant service, food and vibe. There were 12 of us in our party - for a 90th birthday for my mum in law. They catered for vegans, vegetarians and accommodated 2 dogs, where most other places didn't want to. Everyone in the party said that the food was absolutely beautiful, and the location in Reach just perfect. Highly recommend this lovely little gem at the end of Devil's Dyke. Thanks again The Dyke's End for a great lunch

Went for a drink on a cold winters night. No fire, although it was lit once we arrived, good beer and friendly

We were thinking what we wanted for lunch on a cold Sunday and we decided to come to the Dyke's End for a roast and what a great decision that was! They do a fantastic Sunday roast. Well worth a visit

Lovely pub. We arrived early on a Friday evening for a pie and a pint after work. There was only 4 or 5 others in when we arrived. We ordered our food and she said we would have to wait til 6.30pm (1 hr)as the kitchen didnt open til 6pm. The pub quickly filled up and it was a good atmosphere. But at 7pm, we had to chase our food because it still hadnt arrived (1.5hrs later) and we were absolutely starving. Only 1 other table had been served with food. The meal itself was ok, lovely creamy mash, pie was a bit watery, peas overcooked/old.

Dan and his colleagues were extremely helpful in providing a wonderful buffet lunch for my Fathers 90th birthday. The food and service were excellent and we will certainly be back

A little off the beaten track, but this pub is old-school - welcoming and cosy. We went for Sunday lunch, pre-booked after talking to the owner previously who said it was always busy. The two young ladies serving were polite, capable and efficient, in spite of missing their Team Leader that day. The food was absolutely delicious, quite the best Sunday lunch we have had for years. They specialise in only having beef and pork available, so that each is cooked to perfection. Yorkshire pudding was excleent with a little bit of squidge on the bottom. Vegetables were lightly cooked; only slight criticism was the cheese sauce on the cauliflower was a little thin (but we are incredibly fussy). Pudding (apple & blueberry crumble) was superb. The recommended wine to go with the meal was wonderful too, in both quality and price. All in all, a thoroughly pleasant way to spend a chunk of Sunday afternoon following a walk along Devil's Dyke. We will be returning, and recommending this pub to others for a very, very good lunch.

Popped in for Sunday roast lunch with the family. Efficient service. Cosy surroundings. Tasty food AND gluten free Yorkshire puddings! (A real treat. As a coeliac, I can't remember when I last enjoyed a Yorkshire pudding).
