Peterborough Brotherhood BranchRude and awful. Asked regarding cancellation policy several times they failed to mention they take 10% of the order price if cancel within 48 hours. Went to store manager David who was rude and said he?s not here for entertainment purposes. Went to customer services who also did not help, apologised but did not resolve the issue. Apparently they spoke to David to ask if cancellation policy was provided, and apparently when they asked David he said yes, but this is untrue. So don?t even listen to customers and did not resolve the issue! Pretended via google reviews to get the issue solved by they did not!

Brought a £400 mattress and already got problems with it like it's deformed in the middle. There excuse is it's normal so won't be going there in a hurry.

If you think the staff here are rude and unhelpful wait till you call their customer service and you'll learn what rude means. The delivery service is completely disorganised and pot luck as to whether the goods turn up or not.

We lokked at a number of bed shops and ended up with Bensons. Brian in the Peterbourogh store was very knowledgeable. We chose one of the Bensons Igel beds which just felt great.

Avoid... My wardrobe was never delivered to me after six weeks of wait. I was charged £44.50 for the delivery. I received a text of confirmation of my delivery two days before delivery. Only to get a message on the delivery day that i won't be getting my furniture!!
After a week of chasing up I still wasn't informed where my furniture was or when it will be delivered. I was on the phone to Bensons for bed every day and after almost a week no one could tell me where my furniture was or when i will be getting it!!!!
Absolutely poor customer service no one seems to be aware of things in their own company. Unfortunately i got rid my of my old furniture to make room for the new one. Only to put my things in boxes. Really really poor service, absolutely disgusted.
In the end I had to place my order with another supplier and waited another four weeks to get my wardrobe. Benson never sorted it out for me. Complete waste of time and lots of hassle for no reason. I wish I had never gone to Benson for beds

Very pushy annoying staff, really overpriced, way to long to wait from order to delivery and quality control is just a myth! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Rude and abrupt staff, we went in to spend £2000 on a bed , and couldn't get service from the staff, as soon as we did get ones attention he couldn't wait to get rid of us ! Needless to say we went elsewhere.

Ordered bed brilliant no problem (knew what I wanted).
During the ordering process they don't seem to like the small print questions (being rushed or steered off).
Bensons picked wrong person for that one. If I'm going to invest in a super quality mattress, I expect professionalsm from start to finish and not to try and fob me off, as this won't work.
In my professionalsm everyday, I have 7k attorneys under my belt.
Looking forward to my delivery if the mattress can be delivered without damage (bending). Thank you Bensons.

Disgraceful. The bed was delivered without slats and screws. When I called the store they tried to palm me off to customer services. After a lot of persuasion they eventually called on my behalf and promised me a phone call back that same day. That never happened. After phoning the store again I was told they had found the slats but needed to find the screws from the spare parts warehouse. Again I was promised a phone call back and again this never happened. The third time I called the store the member of staff I spoke to explained he would order me a new bed and would just need to confirm he could do this. AGAIN I was not phoned back after being promised a call by midday today. It seems it would be quicker to get a full refund and order a bed from somewhere else. But nobody is answering the phone in the store for me to be able to do this.

On purchasing a new matress were told that our old matress would be removed and disposed of free of charge. The arrangement Bensons have with The British Heart Foundation to remove old matresses does not exist. On delivery of our new matress we were left with having to remove it ourselves, store in the garage and pay for its disposal. Poor service Bensons, very poor indeed.
