I stayed here recently with a colleague whilst attending a 4 day course at Cranfield University. The Carrington Arms is perfectly situated if you're needing access to Cranfield. We considered many chain hotels in the Milton Keynes area and decided to try here instead. What a great choice! The accommodation is basic but no more basic than any other hotel I've stayed at. The temperature of the rooms is easily controlled (nice for a change!) and has all the facilities you could need. It's also very quiet in the evenings which is great. The biggest note during my stay is the incredible food available at the pub. Our breakfast was included and the options were fantastic, far superior to that of a chain hotel. The dinner options had great variety and the steaks are excellent. Can't recommend enough. If I'm ever at Cranfield again, I will most definitely be staying here. Cheaper than most chain hotels and several times a better experience!

Really nice atmosphere and a really nice place to be. Love when you order the steak you get brought to the chef to choose your cut. And the Chef was very welcoming and helpful.Service wasn't brilliant. We waited about 10 minutes before someone took our drink order. And once we were finished we waited another 15 minutes before someone cleared our plates. However it was a very busy Friday night !Food was good but not amazing ! My Fillet was a bit fatty and the chips felt like they had been laying about for a while before they were served.Overall I would recommend it to people. But not somewhere I would go out of my way for.

I stay here possibly 5 or 6 times a year, and I won't stay anywhere else when visiting MK. The Carrington Arms is just a sort drive from the motorway, and perfect for getting into MK and surrounding industry parks. The reason I stay here is the restaurant, food and staff. That main building is full of character, and old world charm. The restaurant is warm cozy and welcoming with a great selection of drinks to suit anyone. The rooms are basic, but comfortable with a plenty of space and good size bathrooms too. The staff are all super helpful and friendly too, but the best thing about the Carrington Arms is the food... The food is the real reason I drive 200 miles. All locally sourced produce, highest quality meats cooked a presented with care and passion. My favourite place to stay when visiting MK.Food & drinks: Some of the best gastro pub grub I've eaten. Locally sourced produce, highest quality meats, and a full English breakfast that's amazing.

Celebrated my wife?s birthday, and the food, service & atmosphere cannot be faulted. Steak was perfect, the pork was gorgeous & everything else complimented them so so well. The food, was as good, if not better than anything I?ve had in some the finest restaurants in the World.

All produce and meat is sourced locally, so my lunch was very good - I had the lumberjack burger with cheddar truffle fries. It took a while to arrive but it was well worth the wait! Ample parking with EV charging available for approx 45p per kWh.

Lunch on xmas eve was superb. Good, friendly service, excellent choice. Nice to see dairy free options clearly labelled as my husband is dairy intolerant. Relaxed vibe. Hadn't been for years as we aren't that local anymore and was slightly worried wouldn't be as good as remembered. No need was all as good. We chose bourbon marinated steak which was delicious and cooked to perfection. We found the starters a proper appetiser portion rather than a small meal so many places do now. I rarely eat dessert but as it was my birthday ? tried the "raspberry ripple" a raspberry parfait with white chocolate, honeycomb, raspberry puree and candy floss. I didn't know that could taste amazing!
