Terrible service. No one answers the phone, ever. I always have to queue at least 20 minutes before I get served.

I never had any issues with this boots in Newport Pagnell. I changed pharmacy because I had a closer one to my home. But it was awful, I regreted it, that's why I came back to boots. They are always there, always open and everyone very polite and helpful! I definitely recommend this pharmacy

This is the worst Boots pharmacy. Constantly understaffed. Waiting times are ridiculous. Even when there is a long queue of 10+ people the one member of staff who was serving was chatting away to a customer who is a clearly a personal friend with no attempt to rush through the transaction and get to the next customer. The place is constantly a mess, the floor is filthy and there is litter everywhere. The shelves are half stocked as well. They clearly desperately need more staff. Appalling.

Just so slow. Seems perpetually understaffed. Anyone who uses this pharmacy regularly knows to set aside half an hour. Some staff members are less than helpful as well although in fairness the main regulars do try to help

Never been here and been able to get served with any haste. Expect to wait 20 odd minutes on any visit with usually only one or two people to serve the ever growing queue of customers.

The service from this branch is appalling. Today I rang 26 times in an attempt to check for a prescription for my elderly father. I still didn?t get an answer to my call and eventually had to visit on the off chance it might be ready. I queued for over 10 minutes, with only one staff serving, to establish that the prescription still needed to be checked by the pharmacist.Unfortunately this is a regular level of service we experience from this Boots branch. Boots you must do better.

i was told the my fathers prescription was going to be delivered today .16.05 still not arrived .tried 3 times to phone but nobody as answered .terrible service.He needs his mds as he as he as cancer and cant walk to get them and im disabled

Ridiculously under-staffed so always a very long time to wait in the one queue for both shop items and prescriptions... At least the A/C works!

Wow! Boots not my first choice previously but just having used their services as an emergency, it was faultless! Two totally professionally ladies behind the counter, genuine concern & want to assist. Could not speak highly enough about them. Went over and above duty to help when original chemist had an urgent prescription passed to them from our Doctors, then closed its doors without notice due to staffing problems it stated. (not first time!) Pharmacist was inside but refused to serve even the urgent cases and old people waiting outside having already been told to return from earlier. Our prescription was already downloaded by them leaving Boots ladies in a very difficult position to repeat the required needs. Fast action taken, direct call to our doctors, a call at home within 15 mins to say sorted and ready to collect. Returned, on the spot service given. Companies are made by their staff not the name over the door,. Boot is not always number one for many people but with great ladies like this they would be the Go To! Thank you very much indeed!

Wouldn?t recommend this boots. Staffs are rude. Jardines opposite the road is much better

20/11/2021 13:48I have been to Boots' Newport Pagnell today and left as a very disappointed customer. The service was inadequate and utterly disrespectful. Not only I did not receive the full amount of medication ordered by my GP but also I was insulted. Duty manager behaved in a confrontational manner and insulted my intelligence. Instead of focusing on customer care she was rather focused on ridiculous sales pitch. Yes ridiculous because she said "You won't be charged if you order it now" for a medication that was already ordered by my GP and they failed to deliver. I could not understand the emphasis she was trying to make.My GP prescribed me 30mg of a stress related medication. Due to 30mg not being produced by manufacturer, my GP ordered a packet of 10mg and another packet of 20mg of the same medicine.But the manager at Boots told me that "we are out of stock of 20mg, but we won't charge you if you order the 20mg now"As any reasonable person would wonder, I asked "since it is the same medicine could you not give me additional packets of 10mg since you don't have the 20mg". She patronizingly said "it doesn't work like that".I said "common sense would suggest otherwise but anyway can you give me what you have available now and I pay for it".She told me "we won't charge you if you order the 20mg packet now" I asked "what you mean", and she repeated. I said "it has been ordered already by my GP and you are telling me if I want to order it, and what is it that you are not charging me, is it free?". She says "no it is not free, .... and repeated herself". I said "can I please have my medication, I want to pay and go, I cant handle nonsense, in fact that is why I am receiving the medication. Again with a patronizing tone she said "it's not nonsense it makes sense you are just not listening". I said "I am struggling to understand you are not giving me the full prescription; telling me it doesn't work like that, and stuff that don't make sense. OK I am listening, tell me". And she repeated the whole thing all over again. So apparently I was listening the first time but all I was receiving was inadequate service and nonsense.I am not sure if that stuff-member is qualified for a pharmacist, dispenser, manager, or any customer related position. I will definitely not go to Boots' Newport Pagnell brunch again. People go to pharmacies for remedy and get everything else but remedy it seems.

Since living in the area near 2 years I have never once been into this boots and been impressed with the service or wait time always a queue of people grumbling because of how long they're waiting always short staffed always a fuss much better to go to another pharmacy.

This place has been diabolical since it first opened. Always short staffed and the staff are always really rude to anyone if they dare ask a question. The queues are always very long. One staff member VERY rudely and loudly refused to sell me Calpol because my baby was under 3 months even though it is recommended by the nurse to give after their jabs at 2 months old (and even says it on the bottle!) Literally argued with me. The shelves rarely are stocked, wrong prices, expensive and they CONSTANTLY mess up prescriptions (I've since moved over to another pharmacy thank god). Sack them all, replace the staff and get new management in there who actually are interested in running a business with good customer service ASAP.
