“Again, I would like to say big thankyou to Rej (duty manager) for arranging my room requirments. Forgot to book the room as a twin and when I arrived he informed me that he will have the sofa bed made up. The first class service always brings us back to this small hotel. Needs an upgrade but we are always met with a big smile.”

“The staff at Old Stratford are great and more than a little helpful. Trudy, Debbie, Dan and the rest of the team. The rooms are clean and comfortable i should I've been in one for over 10 months. The local are is a good base for exploration.”

“We nearly cancelled due to the distance from the city centre & the reviews of the rooms which are outdated. So glad we didn’t!!! The hotel is ideal! 1 mile walk to the centre. We got a taxi back for £4.40. The rooms are big an airy! Not modern but ok! Clean. Lovely bed. Very good breakfast. We would stay here again. Oh, note to management, you need to supply Oat Milk!”

“We had a lovely afternoon tea and I was really impressed from the minute I walked in. We received a fabulous greeting as though they'd known us for years and the service from that moment on was absolutely brilliant. The food was delicious and we were offered more sandwiches and top ups on the drinks throughout our visit. The whole area was decorated beautifully and the atmosphere was so friendly and fun. I can't recommend this enough and thank you for a lovely time.”

“Great location. Ideal having access to a gym and pool also. Bed was perfect in terms of comfort for me. Would definitely stay again.Rooms: Strange configuration with the switch by the bed being basically in bed with me. Means I have to have my phone in bed to charge it. Very minor detail though.Noteworthy details: Excellent staff. Ganesh is a amazing. Super attentive, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Definitely an asset.”

“Quite a comfortable Travelogue in the middle of town. We had everything we needed and the staff were friendly and helpful too. I had some minor problems getting into the room as the key was faulty but a member of staff was quickly on hand to sort it out. All in all, an enjoyable stay.”

“Lesley was the lovely lady who helped me out with all my needs. I left my luggage there under her secure eye while I went to see the sights as I was too early for check in. The room was on the ground floor and was larger than I expected. A nice deep bath soaked the travel weariness away before a short walk to look at the town. Quite a few restaurants and convenience shops within a short stroll and Bletchley Park is only a five minute drive away. The canal and local church are good photo ops and the Pink Punter's Club is close too. I slept well and noted how quiet it was after spending a week in noisy Manchester; a pleasant contrast. Check out was quick and easy and Lesley was there again to ring a taxi for me to go to the station. Nice place to stay??Rooms: Much larger than I expected. No knocked knees or cramped elbows.Nearby activities: Bletchley Park is a short drive away. The Pink Punter's Club is across the road. There are some good restaurants within a short walking distance.”
