This afternoon I took a parcel to be returned to Amazon into the post office, when I got to the counter, presented my qr code which was scanned. I was then asked to put the parcel on the scales to be weighted. At the counter there was no room to move due a cage beside the counterand It was struggle to get the parcel on scales. Once on the scales I was told by the lady behind the counter they do not accept parcel over 15kg. So I was told to take the parcel elsewhere. As I was leaving I noticed on the parcel clearly stated the gross weight was 12kg, so I re queued and when I got to the counter I explained the weight was below 15kg, at which point the lady then said we do not accept parcels over 10kg, a complete lie as I to what she said had told me not more than 5 minutes before. Again I was asked to the parcel scale which was a struggle as before due the lack of room. Again it was refused and advise to go elsewhere, so I went Beaconsfield post office who gladly accept the parcel without any hassle, as accessing the scale was easy as there was nothing blocking the access. I shall not be returning the the Loudwater store In future, due the staff telling lies and the lack access and general untidiness of the area around post office counter..

Having left Aylesbury Post Office with a special card that needed posting today, I went to this one and the lady in there (who can sometimes be curt & unfriendly), was very pleasant, very helpful and posted my item, without any issues. 'Paid £5.35 for 1st Class Signed 4, no problem, and the postal service is open until 9.30 p.m.Perhaps, this post office which I often use, as it is local to me, should go over to Aylesbury Post Office on the High Street and train the rude, obnoxious staff there on what uniform, standard charges the post office has and on how to treat all customers nicely!
