Just made a special trip to JL High Wycombe to buy a microwave, we were in my husbands van and could not enter the car park as height restrictions were in place, drove round to goods in and a young man tried to help us but we were greeted by a very rude unhelpful woman who told us we couldn?t be here and to park by the wall - which has double yellow lines!! No offer of help to allow us to enter the shop! Left and gone elsewhere. Very very poor service from JL

Does not deliver when promised. Day 25 and still no refund. Apparently I have to wait a few more days. Today the 1st February I am being told another 5 days for a refund. Not sure that I see them as a trustworthy household name. Their emails state customer service. I think customer dis-service to be more appropriate.

We had a nursery appointment with a gentleman called Alexander. I seldom ever leave a review on the same day of a visit but wanted to do everything to ensure that my opinion was out there whilst it was completely fresh in my mind. Never ever ever have we been made to feel this welcome during an appointment. Whilst most of us would have been completely shattered by the end of the week, we received the most upbeat and well engaged service for a late Friday evening appointment. Alexander was nothing short of incredibly professional, highly knowledgeable, helpful and friendly to us. It must take a great deal of might to talk for 1.5 hours straight and no doubt there are a number of appointments per day of this duration. To be able to maintain a high level of service right up into late on a Friday evening is commendable, it is refreshing to see that kindness is not a dying breed and I do hope John Lewis recognises its true gems! Please don't ever change Alexander. Great work. :)

Got 7 suit cases from them in High Wycombe branch , the advisor told us we are fully covered when bought , went today as two of them got dents and broken, sales incharge/ manager said sorry we just do cover for the handle zip and wheels. Not any other damages. So came back and decided that never shopping again with these liers/ scammers again its far better to buy stuff from amazon or temu instead of going to these scammers never buy goods from them triple the prices and same quality as some cheap third grade product.. And if you do need to pay triple the price ,please always make sure get clear instructions on insurance that they give on goods.Really disappointed never shopping from them again not even a cold cup of tea.

Purchased an icandy orange through John Lewis a couple of years ago. Sadly the front wheels kept braking and falling off. With two children, that makes it tricky. I took the pushchair in just before Christmas. They were extremely helpful and even loaned me a spare pushchair. Icandy fixed my pushchair under warranty and it?s now easier to push than ever. Thank you for all your help.

Came here looking for a fridge/freezer after an unsuccessful trip to Currys in Slough. Currys didn't have most fridge/freezers that I liked in stock, so a quick Google search showed John Lewis did have them in stock and offered free delivery (unlike Currys who were looking for a min of £60 for delivery!!) Knew exactly what I was looking for when I went in to John Lewis. Went straight to fridge/freezer section and was greeted by a very friendly young man who offered to help. I told him what I wanted (there was an example fridge in the store to show him!) and he advised that they didn't have this one in stock. Rather than attempting to sell me a much more expensive one that I didn't want, the colleague did a search to see if they had it available in other colours. I was very pleased to find out the fridge was available in stainless steel for the same price and with much lower energy usage!! This was great news. Really grateful to the staff member for his efficient service this afternoon. We were in and out the store within the hour!! Very happy customers and looking forward to receiving the new fridge/freezer on Monday!

I would give it no stars if I could.I don?t usually complain but I?m completely fed up with John Lewis and their attitude to after care. On the experience we?ve had, I would definitely think long and hard before you purchase through this company. We chose to buy from John Lewis because we trusted that they sold quality goods and have reliable after service. Both have been proven wrong. After many technicians trying to repair our TV, they have washed their hands and told us they will do nothing about it. The story is long and frustrating but it has been going on since the beginning of October. Speaking to other people, they are also experiencing similar low quality, dismissive service. I will never purchase from John Lewis again.

Great store with plenty of parking. Huge place with lots of helpful staff. Could do with a few more staff on the tills at busy times, but otherwise, a great place to browse around.

I bought a pair of headphones from John Lewis in high Wycombe, I must say the service I got from Rosie in the electrical department was awesome ???.I must say Rosie is an asset to John Louis. She has an amazing attitude and was cool calm and extremely helpful, she had wonderful knowledge about the products And any questions I threw at her where she was not sure she would immediately check and would explain it to me In the way I would understand.I quiz her on other products like the Sonos Roam which again she was wonderful. She done her very best to give me a fulfilling contentment that I was important to her and John Lewis. Also would like to compliment her parents on raising a wonderful young lady. ?????

You are joking, right?Went to do a bit of shopping at the John Lewis branch at High Wycombe. After spending a small fortune on shopping, thought I?d get a cup of tea and a cake from their restaurant. Can?t say I was at all impressed on either the cake or the cost. Not sure where John Lewis feels it can exploit a customer with a slice of cake barely thicker than my finger for £4.25Lesson learnt, and I won?t make the same mistake of visiting the restaurant again.

John Lewis is probably my favorite shop. I usually find something for myself & my home in most of the departments. Since moving from London to High Wycombe, John Lewis has become my least favorite place to shop.I am followed around the store all the time in both busy and quiet periods. I will find 2-3 members of staff loitering at the end of an aisle or area where I am browsing and they follow me to each area.Today was the final straw when I decided to end the day with a nice browse around the shop. This quickly turned into a sad and miserable browse as I noticed I was being followed yet again.I waited in line like other customers at various counters (Mulberry) to be served and was over-looked and then treated with bored, disdain as I made enquires. You've done me favor as I'll be saving money in 2024 by no-longer shopping at John Lewis.I'd rather go without than walkaway feeling miserable from the horrid store experience.I would like to know if the High Wycombe branch specifically train staff to treat fat, black women like common shoplifters, I do not believe my 'type" are the clientle this particular branch are intrested in. Point very much taken.
