Went to pay cash into a large branch in a large town. Said they don't take cash as they're a "digital bank" now. I have to travel 20 miles if I want to pay cash into my own account. Progress huh?

Asked to wait to be served. Waited 20 minutes and then told the branch is closing and to come back tomorrow after being asked to come to the branch. Woman was rude and clearly just trying to get home. Customer services abysmal.

I would like to thank miss Arooj for her professional service for every time I visited high wycombe branch.I am sure that Arooj have changed my dissatisfaction about the service declining and not looking at the well being of their customer during the last 5 years. I hope that all the team members recognise a great service from Arooj.

How many times does someone need to go into High Wycombe paying £15 a round trip, only to find ?unexpectedly closure? since the closure of Beaconsfield, I have gone in 3 times only to find it ?temporarily closed? twice

Terrible customer service. Closing down local branches doesn't help. They seem to have lost all information regarding my daughters application for a children's account and failed to send the telephone security number for my son so he can't use online banking services. Wait times are ridiculous on the phone and the staff when you get through are unable to help or even put you through to someone who can. very frustrating.

Please dont go in. If you can sort everythig on line because you will not find a soul to help you here. Noone to sort out a problem or query. Wasted 1 hr just to pay money in in so called self service and it didnt work as both machines had issues and no staff to sort it out.

Unbelievably rude and unhelpful staff. I wanted to withdraw a large sum of cash, staff refused to help and told me to use the ATM but the only cash withdrawal machine working inside allowed max £300. The staff argued with me that it allowed £500 withdrawals without even checking the machine and even commented whilst laughing rudely ?it?s most likely because you don?t even have enough money in your account to withdraw that much?. HSBC you need to raise your standards or retrain your staff because that is no way to speak to a customer.

I come to this branch weekly to withdraw some money?. Their outside machines are Always broken and the staff is ALWAYS late with opening branch?.

Extremely rude and arrogant staff in this branch. If I could give it zero stars, I would. It does not even deserve one star.I went in there to pay some cash in, but they have now taken away the counters so you can only use paying in machines. The machine was out of service so I went to the front of the bank where a member of staff was just having a casual conversation with (I presume) another customer but they were just talking about the weather and there families. The member of staff occasionally glanced over and quite obviously just pretended to type something on his keyboard.After about 5 minutes another member of staff wandered overand asked what did I want. I told her that the cash paying in machines was not working and I needed to pay in some cash. She told me that I had to go to the Beaconsfield branch if I wanted to pay money in over the counter. I told her that was not convenient to me as I had always done my banking here. Her reply was simply one of and I quote " well, that's not my problem"There was not even a hint of an apology or any concern that the machine was not working or the fact they have permanently closed the counter service. She just demonstrated the attitude that she couldn't care less. Having banked with HSBC for over 20 years now, I have always found it a good bank with helpful and pleasant staff. However over the last few months the attitude of the staff has just degraded at this branch and they are now downright rude and I will be looking at taking my banking elsewhere. The staff just don?t seem to care about the customers unless they personally know you. There were customers they were happily chatting about general personal things, but other customers were being ignored

Awful service, asked when my credit card payment is due was left on hold and never came back. On the phone for over half an hour and this has happened on more than one occasion.
