“Not very busy while I was there. Nice selection of garden things. Friendly staff. A young kid with hoodie was going in and out thieving and didn't look at all worried or frightened. Obviously the staff can't do too much in case he had a knife or got violent with them.”

“You could not wish for a better Post Office/Village Store. Umang and Vaishali are fantastic and so dedicated, they stock everything you could need or think of (in the region of 6000 products I believe). During the pandemic lockdowns they provided a lifeline to the local community, especially the elderly/those sheltering. Josh who often mans the shop is always friendly and helpful. Great opening times. If you need to get there by car the parking can be tricky at busy times, but that's Pensford for you. An absolute asset to the village, thank you.”

“The frozen food collection is good and the staff is also very kind and humble.What I have a problem is that every few months, they seem to decrease the opening timings.First it was 8 to 7 then decreased to 6-30 then opening increased to 8-30, perhaps by the time I write this, it may decrease further.”

“I like lidl has been visiting it for many many years I think since I came to UK in 2000 it's been there ..so it's a great shop with great deals and good prices afforadable jn this current inflation jn the UK ..lighting spacing and product placing is great”

“I was on my way from dropping my wife at work. The Aldi I would have gone to normally (petherbridge road) has road works nearby. So I went in here. The stock levels were good and the staff were friendly and kind. I enjoyed the experience of shopping in this store.”

“Love this place! Friendly staff, great and plentiful selection of food. I find this shop to have better selcetion than the food warehouse at Willowbrook. My only issue is home delivery versus in store shopping. Items can be cheaper when purchased online, than the listed price from the same store and I've had items missing (due to being out of stock) from my order, for me to go down and find plenty in the freezer or on the shelves.”

“We were tired of fruit and vegetables going off shortly after we’d purchased them from our local supermarket so decided to try a few places before we ended up here. The quality of the fruit and vegetables are brilliant, they last significantly longer and from what we’ve tried have tasted far better. In terms of pricing I’d say it’s excellent, usually our purchases there come to about £14 and that lasts the four of us for a week. Staff have been really friendly and this is now our go to place.”

“Went very early the store had not been opened long,which was very nice,we felt very safe with this never ending pandemic.The staff were very helpful and friendly.And always great quality food.It’s very reassuring when food is purchased at Marks it’s always excellent.Also all the staff were using face coverings .10/10.”

“Only had some of what I wanted very limited bakery selection for the time of day I would have expected more. The custard doughnuts must have changed as they weren't very nice and ive enjoyed them in the past. Also had a disappointing range of birthday cards. Overall store felt clean.”

“A medium sized supermarket with all the essentials for life with a bit of verity. Hand sanitizer available at the door. The aisle have a one way system which unfortunately people tend to ignore. Their own products are usually very good and often better than the more well known brands.The shop has an Amazon pickup point to save having to wait for a deliveryLarge carpark that always has room to park and some recycling containers at the far end. Nice walk next to the river close by.”

“Really big supermarket and very very nice helpful and polite staff! Great in helping me find things and very helpful at checkout! Only problem is absolutely NO orange ? juice for over a month! And for breakfast my kids love an orange juice! What happened to the “Simply Orange Juice ” cartons!!”

“I’ve been shopping at Iceland for many years & the service has always been very good. The staff are always happy & willing to assist customers if they can. They are extremely courteous & polite sometimes offering helpful & useful advice as well. The food at Iceland is excellent value for money especially if you’re on a tight budget. They cater really well for people are vegan & vegetarian who might be on a plant based diet. I’d highly recommend to all family & friends”

“It's a Lidl, so no surprises as to what you will find. The shop itself was clean and tidy and well stocked.They don't have customer toilets, but a member of staff was kind enough to let me use theirs.I like shopping my essentials here, as they are cheaper than the other supermarkets, maybe apart from Aldi. Swift service at the tills.”

“Wow , I was struggling with shopping and my mother in law who sadly has dementia. Stacie really went the extra mile . I wanted a whole box of wet wipes for my grandchild . Stacie put in a bag for me and tied it up so I could carry it . Even put it through till for me . Thanks that’s why I love Sainsbury’s the staff are always lovely. Thankyou”

Good parking,some good quality products although i would love to be able to buy parsnips and celeriac from there as i always have to go elsewhere because they just don't have these products! Olso would love to see more tills opened! Some staff members nice and helpful, others not so much!”

“Although currently shopping at this store is a nightmare due to refurbishment I want to say a member of staff called Scott was so helpful when I wanted to purchase some chippings. He came and lifted them into my trolley and when I had paid for them he came out to my car and lifted them in for me.”
