This has to be the best charity shop going.

Another good charity store to add to the list. However they dont offer refunds like the other charity shops. Recently bought an item that had clearly shrunk in the wash and therefore did not fit, and i was unable to get a refund for it , just a refund note, so buyer beware.

I have found the Salvation Army a complete let down. My family who are currently Salvationists ostracised me when they discovered I was only half sibling, as my mother had an affair.

I bought a pair of shoes today at 1 pm the lady on the till asked me if you pay cash or card, I said by card the soonest I pulled the card out of my wallet she took it from my hand ( contactless) she entered a numbers on the machine I couldn't see she scanned my card, quickly put the receipt in the till, i asked to see the receipt, her answer was rude ( you waste of time and you nosence) that what she said.
I called her manager she gave me copy of the transaction, . saying you got a copy of the transaction, asking me to leave using arms ( her left hand arms direction to the door and her right arm behind me.

This charity shop is in quite a good location on Stokes Croft. I mean, how many cafe or bar start ups would love to have this spot? Which is why there always are people in here, rummaging for cheap and useful things that have been tossed aside by someone else. I love charity shops, and those up on Gloucester Road are pretty fun, but this one is quite a dud. It's not really their fault, of course, they are only as good as the things that are donated to them. Perhaps the best thing I found were some cushions for 50p each. Aside from that, it's quite a boring one that I probably won't bother browsing again.
