After a late night, out on the town we were looking forward to a good night's sleep. As I put my head down I stared up at the ceiling and noticed cobwebs above my face. Not wanting these to fall on me in the night I cleaned them off myself. Afterwards I noticed more around the room but left them for their housekeeping to deal with (as is their job). Once settled I went to sleep around midnight only to be awoken by the night receptionist banging insistently on our door at 01:15 to say that there had been a report of noise from our room? We were asleep!!!? I was very upset at being woken up for no good reason and did not get a good night's sleep thereafter. In the morning we went down for breakfast but could not see where the restaurant was. Asking, we were told to exit left and it was down the street a little. If we would have been told this yesterday then we would have taken our coats, being that it was raining. As it was we had to go back to our room and fetch them before repeating the whole rigmarole again. Breakfast itself was ok but the restaurant was a tip: crumbs on tables and seats...We had to move because it was so bad. We feel the experience was very poor and submitted a complaint the day after for a full refund. It is now 16 days on and nothing! I will no longer be using Premier Inn.

Tidy and clean rooms, slight noise from other people could come through the walls but overall pretty quiet. The shower is a bit dated but overall the room was comfortable.Great location close to the Hippodrome and shopping, as well as a short walk from Park street. Staff were friendly and helpful, I would stay here again.

All the staff were friendly and informative. the room was quite nice for a cheap option. The location and main entrance wasn't obvious but didn't take 2 minutes to identify.

The woman at check in was very friendly. The Premier Plus room was nice, but definitely not worth paying extra for. The rooms are the same size and all you get in addition to the normal rooms are a fridge and a coffee machine.I was given 2 codes for the Premier Plus Wi-Fi (which was part of the Plus room deal) and neither of them worked. I therefore had to use the normal Wi-Fi which kept disconnecting. There were 2 bottles of water in the fridge which I liked, however they were both sparkling. I would?ve expected at least one of them to be still. The TV also didn?t work properly - I couldn?t see the TV guideThe bathroom was nice but there was no shampoo - just shower gel, whereas the regular rooms have hair & body wash, so I couldn?t wash my hairThe breakfast was nice but the service for hot food was very slow and I missed my train as a resultEverything else was okay so I probably would stay here again but it wouldn?t be my first choice

Great place to explore Bristol

We were very disappointed with our room at this hotel, though it seemed clean at first we found stains on the bedsheets and dirty socks from a previous guest down the side of the chair in the room. The mirror was also damaged and the back of the bathroom door broken, as well as it generally looking tatty and run down (cracks in the corners of the walls, patches of filler in the wall not smoothed or painted over). We were also made to feel uncomfortable by the staff member at the front desk in the morning, who upon seeing us said ?oh no not you?, quickly followed with ?oh I mean I?m very pleased to see you!?. We laughed it off but that combined with the tatty room which was on a corridor full of premier plus rooms made us feel almost like we?d been put in a bad room as some kind of joke to make us complain or that they?d expected us to complain yet not made any effort to make sure we wouldn?t need to (we felt too shy to say anything about the room and didn?t want to make a fuss). On top of this the stairs up to the room were unclean, with what appeared to be a piece of faeces on a certain step which wasn?t cleaned up at any point during our stay. What other reviews say about it being noisy is very true, but we slept fine with earplugs in. If you want a quiet, un-disturbed night this is not the hotel for you.Overall we feel let down as premier inns are usually quite good. This one felt tired and run down, and staff weren?t great. We wouldn?t stay here again.Food & drinks: Lots of great food and pubs walking distance away so no need to book any food through the hotel. We ate breakfast at The Granary across the road and would recommend it.

This premier inn is in the heart of old Bristol, right by the harbour - it is a good location, but it can get quite noisy due to the amount of drinking venues situated nearby, music, rowdy people, etc. It's not too bad on a weekday, but at weekend obviously the noise is worse and there's a lot of music. If you want a quiet stay, this probably isn't the place for you.My room had a view overlooking the river which was lovely. It's an ok location - within walking distance of the town center (10-15 mins), train station (13 minutes), and cathedral (12 minutes). It's also within walking distance of a lot of pubs, clubs and eating venues. There is no parking on site. They use a nearby carpark - Prince Street - and you get a discounted rate of £8.95/24 hours. It's about a 10 minute walk away, across Queens Square and is quite a nice walk so not an issue for me.The price was reasonable enough, around £80 a night for a Flexible Premier Plus room. If I'm in Bristol again I will be using this Premier Inn and would recommend it, looking at the other locations this one seems to be the best one and that's worth putting up with a bit of noise from the harbour for.Rooms: The room was very spacious and had 4 places to sit down. The bathroom had a bath and a shower, as well as a toilet and sink. There was a television mounted to the wall at the foot of the bed, and an ottoman type seat under it which was great for storing bags on. There was a wardrobe with hangers for clothes, an ironing board, an iron, and a hairdryer.

Clean, spacious rooms and comfy bed. Only reason for low score is the total lack of soundproofing and people above stomping about at 3

Nice enough hotel but impossible to sleep even with earplugs. Surrounded by clubs with the kind of bass you feel in your bones, rendering ear plugs irrelevant. Not the hotel?s fault, but just tba.
