“If you're looking for a bargain, Home Bargains is the place to go. They always have a good selection of items on sale, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend checking out this store if you're looking for a good deal.”

“What delicious food. The balance of spices was perfect. If I lived in Bristol I'd be sure to visit often which made it all the more of a shame that it was nearly empty on a Sunday.Friendly staff.”

“Not very busy while I was there. Nice selection of garden things. Friendly staff. A young kid with hoodie was going in and out thieving and didn't look at all worried or frightened. Obviously the staff can't do too much in case he had a knife or got violent with them.”

“Good products and prices, store feels a little cramped with pallets of food waiting to be put away, pallet trucks etc. Staff don’t seem particularly friendly. But have had no cause to complain about anything.”

“My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. We'd both flagged up some health conditions to the staff when we booked, and they couldn't have been more attentive or supportive. Not only that, but the food was absolutely superb (and perfectly cooked) and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. With a seasonal menu using local produce, thorough attention to detail and genuine care for what they do, I'm surprised that the place isn't packed to the rafters every night! If you're happy to venture away from the centre of town for the evening, this is the place to go.”

“Love this place.Excellent selection, staff really friendly and my favourite aspect is they are open before office hours so gives you the chance to do a bit of grocery shopping before work.”

“One of my favorite Aldi stores in Bristol - less crowded, cleaner, and well stacked. I get to sit and rest at the playground or play hoops at the open basketball court close by.”

“Overall, this is the best supermarket brand in the UK indeed. He you will find the majority of frozen stuff and fair prices. Strongly recommended for the REDUCED, as well as the accumulated points you can eventually exchange for amazing prices in case you have their benefits / points card.”

“I popped in for some frozen food but there isn't much of a selection. Most things were out of stock. Picked up a few essentials, still seems good value for money. Had a long wait for the till.”

“Great selection of produce. I often come here to stock up on Mr Naga pickle which is amazing. Great place to get ingredients you can't get in most other supermarkets.”

“The frozen food collection is good and the staff is also very kind and humble. What I have a problem is that every few months, they seem to decrease the opening timings.First it was 8 to 7 then decreased to 6-30 then opening increased to 8-30, perhaps by the time I write this, it may decrease further.”

“Many thanks to the Aldi staff and especially the manager Tony our close friend who had a serious fall last week just outside the store. They not only wrapped him up warm but stayed with him over the 2hours it took for the ambulance. The 5* care and kindness shown is much appreciated by friends and family ... Many thanks. He is home now recovering. ?”

“I was on my way from dropping my wife at work. The Aldi I would have gone to normally (petherbridge road) has road works nearby. So I went in here. The stock levels were good and the staff were friendly and kind. I enjoyed the experience of shopping in this store.”

“Loved it here. We came mid-week, but this place was busy so would recommend booking a table. Great atmosphere and service was friendly throughout. Both my husband and I went for the jerk chicken leg (with an extra piece of chicken...). This was delicious - the chicken fell off the bone, and the gravy had a great depth of flavour. There was also a good chilli kick too. It wasn't really hot, but the chilli built up throughout the course of the meal. The chicken came with rice and beans and fried plantains - and we also ordered some coleslaw too. Everything worked well together. Would definitely come back here again to try some of the other meals on the menu, and some of the cocktails too!”

“Love this place! Friendly staff, great and plentiful selection of food. I find this shop to have better selcetion than the food warehouse at Willowbrook. My only issue is home delivery versus in store shopping. Items can be cheaper when purchased online, than the listed price from the same store and I've had items missing (due to being out of stock) from my order, for me to go down and find plenty in the freezer or on the shelves.”

“Great deals and good food. Shame about the drunk people sprawled outside the entrance, with an almost entitled look that you will give them something and if you don't you are made to feel bad. Stops me and others from going in and spending money.”

“This is my go to store. Totally consistent, staff always helpful! My little boy was super poorly on our last visit and the staff who helped were so lovely, positive and made me feel like it was all okay! Thank you”

“Fruit and veg at the front, booze at the back and everything else in between. Aldi smashes it out the park with another classic store. I highly recommend the new vegan range in the frozen section (far right corner, just past the biscuits, round the corner from the lemsips)”

“We were tired of fruit and vegetables going off shortly after we’d purchased them from our local supermarket so decided to try a few places before we ended up here. The quality of the fruit and vegetables are brilliant, they last significantly longer and from what we’ve tried have tasted far better. In terms of pricing I’d say it’s excellent, usually our purchases there come to about £14 and that lasts the four of us for a week. Staff have been really friendly and this is now our go to place.”

“Very good shop though quite expensive even for coop prices sometimes. Great product availability and nice, friendly staff. The blonde lady who's always at the till is super friendly. Thank you”

“A really friendly local shop and not what we expected at all. They have a really good selection of groceries-not the usual rubbish you get in some small shops. A decent selection of Wines/beer. Frozen foods. Fresh foods. Nice breads and some unusual bits and pieces as well as some newspapers, magazines and the usual chocolate and crisps etc. A pleasant surprise and much easier than going to the supermarket if you just want a few things.”

“Went very early the store had not been opened long, which was very nice,we felt very safe with this never ending pandemic. The staff were very helpful and friendly. And always great quality food. It’s very reassuring when food is purchased at Marks it’s always excellent. Also all the staff were using face coverings .10/10.”

“It used to be really good. Unfortunately it's been relayed by by people who don't understand food retail.Too much space for wine and beer no space for the thing's that makes Waitrose special.Sainsbury's have better stock and are cheaper”

“A medium sized supermarket with all the essentials for life with a bit of verity. Hand sanitizer available at the door. The aisle have a one way system which unfortunately people tend to ignore. Their own products are usually very good and often better than the more well known brands. The shop has an Amazon pickup point to save having to wait for a deliveryLarge carpark that always has room to park and some recycling containers at the far end. Nice walk next to the river close by.”

“Really big supermarket and very very nice helpful and polite staff! Great in helping me find things and very helpful at checkout! Only problem is absolutely NO orange ? juice for over a month! And for breakfast my kids love an orange juice! What happened to the “Simply Orange Juice ” cartons!!”

“Only had some of what I wanted very limited bakery selection for the time of day I would have expected more. The custard doughnuts must have changed as they weren't very nice and ive enjoyed them in the past. Also had a disappointing range of birthday cards. Overall store felt clean.”
