“I recently went to IKEA Bristol to buy some shelves. I had a great experience overall. The store is very large and has a wide variety of furniture and home goods to choose from. The staff was also very helpful and friendly.While I was there, I even saw Daniel Radcliffe in the restaurant eating meatballs! He was probably just trying to have a normal meal, so I didn't bother him. But it was still pretty cool to see him in person.”

Most staff are friendly and helpful, although a few seem more interested in their colleagues than they do in providing assistance to customers. Also thankful for the B&Q app for helping to locate products in-store, otherwise I would spend far more time searching for things!”

“Managed to find what we wanted with the help of the staff, don't think we would have found all we wanted on our own, customer toilets invisible, tiny door which I walked past twice, without the help of a staff member I would not have found them, also no loo paper in the one I used and it would not flush, having said that they were clean .my thanks to the staff who are fantastic.”

Also it has garden centre outside the back of the shop if you plant's and garden stuff too. Also this store has café inside so you can have drink or something to eat as well. “From our initial visit to the John Lewis of Hungerford(JLoH) branch in Bristol we were hugely impressed by the team's professionalism, knowledge and enthusiasm. Beth, who was very friendly and most helpful, was our first point of contact and designed and masterminded our kitchen being able to incorporate any and all of our changes with ease. There followed several visits both by us to Bristol and by Beth and Nikki to our house. We were kept informed of any changes in dates and excellent graphics were produced showing the new kitchen.Fitting the kitchen was a breeze! We were most fortunate to have Robert as the kitchen fitter who worked his magic and was a most skilled and dedicated craftsman. Nothing was too much trouble and he worked swiftly and efficiently showing his talent as an artist with wood.Six months later we are delighted with our JLoH kitchen and would not hesitate to recommend a JLoH kitchen to anyone wanting a beautiful bespoke kitchen.Services: Kitchen countertop installation”

Some of their prices are high and a similar product can be found cheaper elsewhere however in the main I find them very reasonable and like an Aladins cave when it comes to choice. “We have been to this store a few times and Allan is such a top chap. Nothing is too much trouble. It's more like popping back to chat with an old friend, rather than just chatting to someone who works in a store. He really is a master of his craft and understands that being interested in you as a person, far outways being interested in what he can sell you. You buy because he is such a nice guy and he knows his stuff, rather than because you are being sold too. I wouldn't go anywhere else now.”

“One of the items I wanted was delivery only. Placed order items arrived when they said. At the moment only used gorilla glue to repair part of a door step worked really well impressed.”

“Good for furniture and televisions. Plenty of choice, all furnishings are in good condition. Televisions work and have working remotes including. Staff are very helpful and polite. Charity shop so inexpensive pricing. Second hand good condition goods. Does not buy goods off anyone. Excepts donations of gift aid or not gift aid. Gift aiders have to put money on their donations.”
