The egg tart is amazing! Silky smooth with tasty butter tart.Only 3£!I visited on Sun afternoon, it?s a small cafe and staff is nice. I feel fully relax.Cons: coffee taste average and no wi-fi.

We've been plenty of times before to Catley's and Lockdown Loaves but wanted to leave another review because of how incredible the rhubarb meringue pie was.I think we've tried almost everything they normally make and it was easily the best we've tried. There wasn't space inside so we grabbed a slice of the pie and a slice of basque cheesecake to take home and they did not disappoint!

On a good day when there are many things in stock - absolutely amazing. The coffee is excellent (flat white 10/10). The pastry is great (I only once had an underwhelming cheesy one, but I think it was just a bit stale by the end of the day), flaky and soft and mmmm?Rarely I walk in and see nothing I want and get a bit disappointed?.The staff is always lovely.Oh, one thing - the lamps over the tables are so low, I always bang my head on one, it's almost a tradition now.

Their delicious food is always - from my experience at least - accompanied by an equally delicious moment of pure bliss after taking the first bite. That eyes closed, smile spreading across your face, ?I don?t know how they do it? feeling which is worth every damn penny. Top fave is the lemon meringue pie, so if you?re lucky enough to see it? buy more than one slice!

Such a pretty store. The coffee I had was delicious and my fiancé has said that it is the only place in Bristol to get a class decaf coffee. The pastries are delicious and the staff are super friendly, especially considering how busy they always are. Didn't get to try the famous lemon meringue pie, I guess someone had already bought it all!

Lemon meringue is perfect and one of the only places you can find fresh and regularly available in Bristol.

Catley's make my favourite local pastry, the Almond Pain Au Chocolate ??? Also my bf really likes the Smores Danish, we have the same thing every time we visit because they're that good!

Unbelievable pastries, 100% worth a visit as everything here is so delicious. Cracking coffee aswell. One of the best spots in Bristol for pastries and coffee in my opinion.

Catleys is my favourite local bakery - can be relied upon for exceptional bakes, top tier coffee and a lovely chat with the friendly team! Highly recommend the biscoff babka & sourdough bread.

A lovely little coffee shop and bakery nestled within the heart of Clifton.I've tried Lockdown Loafs previously and have always been impressed with their coffee and baked goods.I was in Clifton, so I thought I'd pop in and give them a go.Lovely pastries and their scotch eggs are still some of the best around.Although they were busy, the service was spot on.I would definitely return. :)

Great place for pastries and coffee. Also good sourdough. We keep going back. Make sure to try the almond pain au chocolat. We ordered frozen bake-at-home pastries for over Christmas which everyone enjoyed - hard to beat a hot pain au chocolat on Xmas morning.
