Prices not so bad these days but the stock is so slow to come out on to shop floor and they don?t seem to make it easy to volunteer

If i could give this place zero stars i would, the counter staff are down right weird and frosty, almost on ever occassion i go in im glarred at forwned at and watched, followed around the store even when going up to the till to pay for my items, what is wrong with you people? the middled aged over weight women and men are known for there racism, AVOID

I have had two good experiences with this branch of BHF. I found and bought an old wall unit in the upstairs section at an excellent price. The delivery men did a fantastic job bringing it into my place and were were very friendly. Later I found I had two large items to donate but because I don?t have a car I needed help removing them. I enquired with other charity shops but they failed to reply or weren?t able to send a van. BHF were very prompt about arranging collection, and again the guys collecting were excellent. I?m sure I?ll buy from or donate to BHF again in future.

The shop has something for everyone. It is a big shop with two 3 floors. Lots to see.and reasonable prices for location. Good access for all. Top floor is a stairs.Room to move about without too many obstacles. So few like this now exist. It is good to see before buying.

I think this place does not have enough recent positive reviews. I imagine all the negative reviews in the last few months are special cases. I had a delivery come today: incredible service, the two movers climbed 3 stories for 4 heavy items. Nothing but kind and helpful in the store, and when I asked questions they were happy to answer. I'll be getting more from this place because it is such good value and the delivery service is so cheap.

My review is not about being a customer, my review is about trying to join the team.I started as volunteer for BHF in location A. I advanced as sales assistant in location B. I thought that I can gain more at BHF Broadmead so I applied for assistant manager and got an unsuccessful outcome after interview. Then I applied to volunteering as cash desk worker. In the first day I met other ex co workers but the General Manager Mr N send answer to me to start sorting clothes in the back room. He came later and responded with "Hello" and left. I left as well in few minutes (confident that he knows my underrepresented background, my CV and that I got no feedback from the hiring team by email in the time promised). I didn't feel welcome at all.

Bit of a disappointment experience. Had a single bed and mattress to donate as there?s still use in it and I thought it could go to someone in need of it. Delivery drivers (who were very nice) explained none of it could be taken due to a small mark on the mattress and one of the drawers of the bed being a bit stiff. I appreciate people may not want to buy faulty items but considering I was donating to a charity I wonder why they do not have a separate system or why they didn?t enquire about photos beforehand? Would have saved a lot of time and effort!

Manager - MaxCame in with a friend and we picked up a skirt and some vases from the first floor and then went to look at the furniture on the second floor and the manager questioned us on whether we were going pay. When we replied we were going to look at the furniture upstairs the manager replied that there was no till upstairs.Honestly had I not been with a friend I would've been so upset. It was really embarrassing to be accused of stealing like that. Even after we started walking up the stairs the manager still tried to carry on and explain someone else had been caught stealing. But it's beside the point. So rude and honestly it will make me think again on visiting if that is what management is like.Really ruined my bank holiday weekend.

Never again! We bought a sofa (quite small) but when the delivery man showed up he arrived at 6.50 in the morning after we were told it would arrive between 9am and 1pm. There was only one delivery driver(not sure how he would have gotten it in) didn?t even try to get it in our house just got a measuring tape and said it wouldn?t fit. He just couldn?t be bothered. When getting a refund the manager said it would take up to 45 minutes to try and put us off however after we told him to continue we were there for 15 minutes max. He was also extremely rude! Poor customer service.

Absolutely terrible place, zero star, delivery driver (only one) didn?t even try to bring the sofa into the house said it wouldn?t fit, Trying to get a refund without a receipt rude manager said it would take 45 minutes, and I would need bank statement to prove I purchased, all of which is on my phone so no problem with that. Not sure what he thought I would do! forget about the nearly £300 I spent! Took him less then 10 minutes, and did not refund me for delivery, so rude, never will I go in this shop again (Bristol horsfaire)

Went in there on a Sunday with my partner and my daughter in a buggy.We wanted to browse some furniture.The staff on the tills they were both STARING insistently at us,like we were all 3 some dangerous imposters.What?s wrong with you people? can?t immigrants speak their mothers tongue anymore? If that?s the reason then it?s discriminatory and illegal! And you call yourself a charity ?
