Myself and my heavily pregnany wife Went to get a baby rocker, got accused of stealing and followed around like criminals. Just because I am a different race does that mean my child can't have the basic things? Racist shop workers are one thing, but to have a hate crime to happen to you before you're even out the womb is sick and disturbing.

The refund policy is terrible !!!! The seller did not inform me about all important things about the product even though I asked him to do so. Once you open the box, you can't return it even though the product cost a lot of money. BE CAREFUL what you buy and you have to look for information on the Internet yourself because they will not help you. They only care about selling and then you have to worry. The seller is only nice when you buy, and when you want to return, they treat you like a thief. Employees, be human and have a heart, it's not your money, it's Smyth's!!!

If you buy, you are a great customer, but if you return, you are treated like a criminal. I waited 15 minutes. based on the decision of 2 managers. finally it was found that it was 10.00 in the morning and they didn't have enough money in the cash register. I came back at 3 p.m. and was told to wait 10 minutes again. the manager hid behind the shelf and gave instructions to the cashier. when he realized that I saw him, he ostentatiously approached and counted the money. judgmental looks from all the employees. I will never buy anything there again.

I went at the end of November and spent over 3 hours shopping. When I get to the counter they say I won?t be able to return anything because I?m buying so much and they also say that I can?t buy multiple units of the same product. It was disgusting service. I was about to leave having spent £400+ but I was so disgusted by the bald managers attitude that I didn?t buy a thing. Won?t be going ever again.

I had a wonderful time at smyths today thanks to a young lady by the name of umeh. She was very helpful and accommodating to all my inquiries. I did find that a bearded man at their games counter wasn?t as helpful but thanks to umeh I would definitely rate smyths 5 stars.

Worst experience of my life. Store manager Summit is rude person. Not sure who made him a shift runner. I saw one other person in the reviews complained about it but I think Smyth toys doesn?t care about their customers anymore.Smyth toys, hiring staff with cheap/rude attitude will only bring you bad revenue and less customers.I planned not to buy anything from this brand anymore. Here you go. One less customer for life.People why even we need to bother to buy from this brand when brands like Amazon, Argos, curry?s provide full customer satisfaction and high quality customer experience.

Amazing customer service! I brought in a balance bike that I couldn?t assembly and they offered to help straight away. They assembled it for me and I could see how helpful both members of staff were for all customers. They have great knowledge of the store and I am really pleased with their customer service and support. Thank you Spencer and Bradley!

Absolutely WORST CUSTOMER SERVICEEven though i am a regular customer, their customer service has gone downhill significantly. Some of the recent issues:1. Bought a fire engine for my kid, turned out faulty, took it back the same day and its been 7 days since i heard from them. Upon calling, they said still have not had a chance to look at it. Also dont want to comment on when will they be able to test?! Its a joke! I have spent money and now faulty toy is sitting with them with no resolution in sight.2. Bought a bike for my 3 year old. I was told its very simple to assemble and advised by the store staff to take it home to assemble as they were very busy and it would take 2 days for them to assemble the bike. Took it home, opened it and we noticed scratches on some parts. Took it back to the store where store manager Sumit refused to return it and in fact kept mentioning i shouldnt have taken it home which was exactly opposite of what his staff told me. This manager is setting just a wrong culture.This is a worst Smyth store and its such a shame that Smyth don't care about their customer service anymore. Absolutely horrible. Even if you really don't have an alternative, still don't go to this particular smyth store.

Worst customer experience I have had and i completely understand they are low paid workers but this was bad. Went to collect 5 orders and was told I can only have 1 of the 5. I was then told that the manager Rebecca had called me in the morning. It was an obvious lie and when i showed Oliver (unremorseful staff member) my call log to prove this, he didnt even apologise for his managers lack of communication.I asked poor Oliver when Rebecca will be in next for me to complain and he said he couldnt tell me due to her privacy ?Either Rebecca lied to Oliver or Oliver lied to me.Poor service, lack of empathy, poor communication and lastly poorly trained staff.
