ASDA is not same anymore. Customer service is joke by the time I left self check out I knew everything about staff for eg what they cooking today and who?s not happy in store with manager ?. They will scan the bag for just in case if you try to walk away without paying but Dnt care about rest of the shopping.

Worst shopping experience.II was Saturday afternoon to do my weekly grocery shopping, picked up a scanner after 10 minutes waiting to find charged one. Went trough al the shelves filled up my trolley according to the shopping list I had, and scanning everything maybe will be a easy process when check out. It wasn?t, instantly when we got to check out we got the message to wait for a staff to come and check 23 items.Tatiana the staff in the area, came and start scanning the items not in very nice way, turning upside down bags, and products. When I told her to be more careful with my grocery, she replied to me she knows what she?s doing and when finished to scan those 23 products instantly told me that I have more than 3 products not scanned at all and after this found another 3 valuable products (£8 detergent, £5 bottle of wine etc.) somewhere £16-17 in total. I?ve told her I was scanning everything well she replied to me that?s not true and send me strait to rescan all the products. I protested its not fare to me because I?ve got so many products if she wants to check on more time, this woman didn?t want to hear about she sent us straight to trolley self-checkout. After 30 min of rescanning the products, I?ve seen the total which was 1 pound less compared to the Scan and Go one. I?ve called her and showed this total and asked how she explains all this. Later the manager came and told me it?s the internet connection fault. I didn?t swallow it, as I know this things working in the IT field. Personally I have been affected as I was accompanied by my 9 years old daughter, seen all this, the people around me looking at me like at a thief, and not last the whole amount of time waisted there.One star is way too much. Be careful shopping at Asda anymore.

Not enough staff and too many self check out tills for people doing big shops. Queues are massive. Avoid at all costs.

Had to just abandon my shopping 5 minutes ago as the lady refused to sell me energy drink without ID even though I showed her photos of both passport and ID showing I'm 18. She didn't understand challenge 25 for a 16+ item and refused sale. Ended up telling her it's nothing I can't get from other shops and walking out. Time to support another store

Absolutely ridiculous for any online shopping pickup or drop, only one staff that can login and assist, and that person is always on a break. Noone else could help. Just a joke of an online collection service or any customerservice

Not really a fan... I guess one of the positives is the scan and go. And some of the staff are helpful. I feel like things are pricey and the quality isn't that great. Parking can be a tricky and finding a decent trolley seems difficult. The layout of the store is odd-you can be walking around aimlessly for a while before you find what you're looking for. Also sorry to say this, but some of the rif raf customers can be off-putting as well!There's never any reception in this place either so you can't send messages or receive calls a lot of the time. How annoying!

I don't know why you got rid of customer service desk and made it part of the cigarette counter,as there is only 1 person on there at any time this causes endless amount of queues. The scan and go is a joke nearly every time I go in there are never any scanners but all sitting at the tills always having to go and collect them for my self and I've also notice the trolley man now nearly fills up one of the disabled parking g bays with trolley s it's bad enough people parking there that are not disabled

Customer service just unreal. Young boy at the self service checkout asking for ID of 40years old and selling vapes to 13years old! Ridiculous. Please educate your staff as they don't even know what rules to follow!

First time back to asda in a long while. Nice selection but that's where it ends!!! 5:30pm on a Saturday and only 3 of 8 staffed tills are open!! The queues where 5 or 6 trolleys long!! Yet there are 4 members of staff wandering around holding carrier bags in the self service area!! Multiple staff members just wandering around the store chatting with each other!!! Finally got through the till and the poor staff member is saying to the customer behind us that shes closing as nobody had arrived to releive her for her break. Pay the £250 bill, was a big shop and the receipt machines is broken. Then as you leave the store your trolley locks its wheels so a security guard can check your receipt. The same receipt that didn't get printed because the machine broke!! He then proceeds to drag your trolley back across the store like you're a criminal before starting to look at a cctv desk ! Even after showing my credit card app showing the £250 purchase he refuses to let you leave!! After he's finally seen that we did go through a till he unlocked the trolley. Absolute shambles of a store. Only given the stars for the actual selection of goods available.

Had Cherry Freeze prime yesterday, and a DEVESTATING restocking placement! It was all chucked on to the shelf! Please train your Store Operators to stop chucking your items on the shelf.

Awful shopping experience, no staff on so called self service tills, security guard has to help clear weight problems and then if paying using an online gift card you have to shout across the tills for a member of staff. You can tell by the clientele what sort of area the supermarket is based in with so many thefts. Items on shelves are mis-priced often with the same item having two prices.
